Blank football jersey manufacturers

Focus on fabric weight (typically 140-180 GSM) and material composition. High-quality jerseys use 100% polyester with moisture-wicking technology (Dry-Fit). For printing compatibility, ensure the fabric is heat-resistant if you plan to use sublimation or heat transfer, and check for interlock or bird-eye mesh weaves which provide the best surface for ink adhesion and breathability.

Request test reports for colorfastness to perspiration and washing (Grade 4 or higher) to ensure colors don't bleed. Verify reinforced stitching (double-needle cover stitch) at the collar, cuffs, and hem to prevent unraveling during physical contact. Additionally, check for anti-pilling and anti-bacterial treatments which are essential for long-term athletic use.

For the US market, ensure compliance with CPSIA (Consumer Product Safety Improvement Act), especially regarding lead content in dyes. For the EU, products must meet REACH regulations to ensure no harmful chemicals are present. Always ask for OEKO-TEX Standard 100 certification, which guarantees the textiles are safe for skin contact.

Analyze the Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) by factoring in the unit price, shipping, and potential import duties. Suppliers on Made-in-China.com often offer tiered pricing; for example, orders over 500 pieces may reduce costs by 20-30%. Consider FOB (Free On Board) terms to maintain better control over your logistics costs compared to CIF.

Always order a pre-production sample before authorizing the full run. Utilize third-party inspection services (like V-Trust or SGS) to conduct a During Production Check (DUPRO) or a Final Random Inspection (FRI) at the factory. Ensure the sales contract specifies that payment is contingent upon passing these quality inspections.

Focus on long-term partnership potential rather than just the lowest price. Negotiate based on MOQ (Minimum Order Quantity) flexibility—ask if you can mix sizes (S-XXL) within the same color batch. Request transparency regarding lead times, especially during peak seasons (Q3/Q4), and secure a penalty clause for significant delivery delays.

Ensure your supplier provides an accurate HS Code (typically 6109.10 for cotton or 6109.90 for synthetic jerseys) to avoid customs delays. For urgent needs, use Air Freight (5-7 days), but for cost-saving on bulk, Sea Freight (30-45 days) is preferred. Always verify if your country has anti-dumping duties or specific trade agreements with the manufacturing origin.

Use secure payment methods provided by reputable platforms like Made-in-China.com, such as their Secured Trading Service. This acts as an escrow, ensuring funds are only released to the supplier once you confirm receipt of goods that meet your specified requirements. Avoid direct wire transfers to unknown personal accounts.
