Zp375 rotary table manufacturers

The ZP375 is a standard heavy-duty component for oil drilling rigs. You must verify the opening diameter (37 1/2 inches), maximum static load capacity (usually around 4500-5000 kN), and the maximum rotating speed (typically up to 300 RPM). Ensure the gear type is a spiral bevel gear for smoother transmission and higher torque capacity. Additionally, confirm the API 7K monogram requirement to ensure the equipment meets international oilfield standards.

Focus on the casting and forging process of the main body and the table. The gears and bearings should undergo high-frequency quenching or carburizing heat treatment to enhance wear resistance. Request Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) reports, such as Ultrasonic Testing (UT) and Magnetic Particle Testing (MT), to ensure there are no internal cracks in the load-bearing components. The use of heavy-duty cylindrical roller bearings is preferred for handling high axial loads.

The most critical certification is API Spec 7K (Specification for Drilling and Well Servicing Equipment). For the European market, CE marking and ATEX certification (for explosive atmospheres) may be required. Ensure the manufacturer holds an ISO 9001 Quality Management System certification to guarantee process consistency. Always ask for the Manufacturer’s Record Book (MRB) which includes material certificates and pressure test reports.

The ZP375 is primarily used in deep well drilling and offshore platforms to rotate the drill string and support the weight of the pipe. Maintenance should focus on the lubrication system; ensure the oil bath is sealed to prevent mud ingress. Buyers should check for easy-access grease nipples and the availability of replaceable wear strips to extend the service life of the unit.

The main risks include logistical damage due to extreme weight and non-compliance with local safety regulations. Because these units weigh several tons, inadequate sea-worthy packaging can lead to gear misalignment during transit. Furthermore, ensure the supplier provides a Certificate of Origin to avoid anti-dumping duties that some regions impose on steel-based industrial machinery.

Utilize Trade Assurance services on Made-in-China.com to protect your payment until the goods are shipped. For high-value items like the ZP375, it is standard practice to use a Letter of Credit (L/C) or a staged T/T payment (30% deposit, 70% after FAT - Factory Acceptance Test). Never release the final payment until a third-party inspection (such as SGS or BV) has verified the technical parameters and API compliance at the factory.

Due to the weight and precision of the gears, the unit must be shipped in a heavy-duty reinforced wooden crate or secured on a custom steel skid. It is highly recommended to use FR (Flat Rack) containers or Breakbulk shipping if the dimensions exceed standard container limits. Ensure the equipment is coated with anti-rust oil or VCI (Volatile Corrosion Inhibitor) film to prevent saltwater corrosion during long-term sea freight.

Negotiate based on the Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) rather than just the unit price. Ask for a 2-year spare parts kit (including seals, bearings, and wash pipes) to be bundled at a discount. If purchasing multiple units, leverage the volume to negotiate a lower inspection fee or extended warranty period (e.g., 18 months from shipment or 12 months from installation).
