Xichai engine manufacturers

When selecting a Xichai engine, you must prioritize the Power Rating (kW/HP) and Torque characteristics to ensure they match your application (e.g., heavy-duty trucks, generators, or construction machinery). Key technical factors include the Displacement (L), Aspiration type (Turbocharged/Intercooled), and the Fuel Injection System (such as Bosch Common Rail), which directly impacts fuel efficiency and throttle response. Always verify the Bore and Stroke dimensions to ensure compatibility with existing transmission systems.

Compliance is critical for cross-border trade. You must confirm whether the engine meets Euro II, III, IV, V, or VI standards, or the equivalent Tier 4/Stage V for off-road machinery. Request the Emission Certification and EC Type-Approval documents from the supplier. For the North American market, ensure the engine is EPA certified, while for the EU, look for the CE marking and compliance with Regulation (EU) 2016/1628.

To guarantee authenticity, check for the Unique Engine Serial Number (ESN) engraved on the cylinder block and cross-reference it with FAWDE’s official database. Genuine engines feature high-precision casting with clear brand logos and use OEM components (like Xichai-branded filters and gaskets). Avoid units with irregular paint finishes or missing Anti-Counterfeit labels. Sourcing from Audited Suppliers on Made-in-China.com significantly reduces the risk of receiving non-genuine parts.

A professional supplier should provide a Warranty Period of at least 12–24 months or a specific number of operational hours (e.g., 2,000 hours). Ensure the supplier offers a Detailed Parts Manual and Maintenance Schedule. Inquire if they provide Overseas Technical Support or have a network of Authorized Service Centers in your destination country to facilitate the sourcing of wearing parts like injectors, belts, and filters.

The main risks include Logistical Damage due to improper crating and Customs Seizure due to non-compliant emission documentation. To mitigate this, insist on Vacuum-sealed Anti-rust Packaging and Reinforced Steel-framed Plywood Crates. Ensure all HS Codes (typically 8408 for compression-ignition engines) are correctly declared to avoid heavy fines or shipment delays.

For bulk orders, aim for a 10-15% discount compared to single-unit retail prices. Use Secure Payment Services like those offered on Made-in-China.com to protect your funds until the Bill of Lading is issued. A standard B2B payment structure is 30% T/T deposit and 70% against the copy of the B/L, or a Letter of Credit (L/C) for high-value transactions to ensure financial security.

Due to the weight and sensitivity of internal components, Sea Freight (FCL or LCL) is the most economical method. For urgent replacements, Air Freight is possible but costly. Ensure the supplier provides a Certificate of Origin (CO) to benefit from preferential tariffs under trade agreements (like RCEP or FTA). Always purchase Marine Cargo Insurance covering 110% of the CIF value to protect against total loss or maritime accidents.
