Xerox drums price manufacturers

When evaluating Xerox drums price, it is vital to distinguish between OEM (Original) and Compatible (Aftermarket) units. OEM drums offer the highest reliability but at a premium cost. High-quality compatible drums from reputable manufacturers on Made-in-China.com can reduce costs by 40-60%. Ensure compatible units use high-grade OPC (Organic Photo Conductor) tubes and Japanese-imported toner powder to match OEM page yields and print density.

Key performance indicators include the Page Yield (typically ranging from 30,000 to 200,000 pages depending on the model), OPC coating thickness, and blade durability. For B2B buyers, verify that the drum unit includes a high-performance smart chip that accurately communicates with the Xerox machine's firmware to prevent 'non-genuine' error codes and ensure stable printing cycles.

To ensure product safety and environmental compliance, prioritize suppliers with ISO 9001 for quality management and ISO 14001 for environmental standards. Additionally, products should meet REACH and RoHS certifications to ensure they are free from hazardous substances like lead or cadmium, which is mandatory for entry into the EU and North American markets.

The drum is a high-value consumable. A lower initial purchase price may be deceptive if the failure rate is high. Calculate the cost-per-page (CPP) by dividing the price by the rated page yield. Professional buyers should look for suppliers offering a defective rate of less than 1% and a warranty period of 12-24 months to protect their investment.

Drum units are highly sensitive to light, heat, and physical impact. Ensure the supplier uses anti-static black bagging, thick pearl cotton (EPE) cushioning, and reinforced 5-layer corrugated outer boxes. For bulk sea freight, request palletization to minimize manual handling risks.

Leverage tiered pricing based on volume; for example, ordering 500+ units usually triggers a significant discount. Request a sample order first to verify quality before committing to a full container. Discuss Incoterms clearly—while FOB (Free On Board) is standard, CIF (Cost, Insurance, and Freight) may be more convenient for first-time buyers to ensure the goods are insured during transit.

Always use the Secured Trading Service provided by Made-in-China.com to ensure your payment is only released after you confirm receipt of the goods. Verify the supplier's Audit Reports and check if they are a Diamond Member or a Gold Member with a verified onsite factory video to ensure they are a legitimate manufacturer rather than a middleman.

Be aware of Intellectual Property Rights (IPR). Ensure compatible drums do not infringe on Xerox's patented designs. Reputable manufacturers provide patented-free designs or 'work-around' solutions.
