Wiper washer manufacturers

Buyers must prioritize connector compatibility (e.g., U-hook, Side Pin, Pinch Tab) and blade material. High-performance wipers typically use EPDM rubber with Teflon or Graphite coating to reduce friction and noise. For extreme climates, silicone blades are preferred due to their heat and UV resistance, offering a lifespan 2x longer than standard rubber.

Ensure the supplier complies with ISO/TS 16949 or IATF 16949 certifications, which are the gold standards for the automotive supply chain. For washer pumps, verify the IP67 waterproof rating and perform a salt spray test (typically 96-240 hours) to ensure corrosion resistance against harsh washer fluids and road salt.

A premium wiper should sustain 500,000 to 1,500,000 wipe cycles without significant streaking. Key metrics include wipe quality (Grade A), noise levels below 60dB, and high-speed stability, ensuring the blade does not lift off the windshield at speeds up to 160 km/h due to aerodynamic spoilers.

For the EU market, products must be REACH and RoHS compliant regarding chemical substances in the rubber and plastic components. For the US, while there isn't a specific DOT stamp for blades, they must meet SAE J903 standards for windshield wiping systems to ensure safety and visibility.

Request a Pre-Shipment Inspection (PSI) focusing on the durometer (hardness) of the rubber and a wiping test on a glass jig. Use Made-in-China.com's Secured Trading services to ensure payment is only released after the quality report is verified. Avoid suppliers who cannot provide material analysis reports for their rubber compounds.

Wiper blades are lightweight but bulky. To optimize container utilization, request flat-pack retail packaging or bulk industrial packaging. For long-distance sea freight, ensure the outer cartons are double-walled (5-layer) and treated with moisture-proof coating to prevent the rubber from aging or warping in humid transit conditions.

Most professional manufacturers on Made-in-China.com require an MOQ of 1,000 to 3,000 pieces for custom branded packaging. You can negotiate a staggered MOQ where the supplier stocks the branded boxes while you pull the blades in smaller batches. Always clarify the mold ownership if you are requesting a custom connector design.

Always verify the supplier's Business License and Export License through the Audit Reports available on Made-in-China.com. Conduct all communications and payments through the platform to maintain a verifiable paper trail. For large orders, consider a 30% deposit and 70% balance against the Bill of Lading (B/L) to protect your capital.
