Vitamin b12 tablets manufacturers

When sourcing Vitamin B12, you must specify the chemical form, such as Methylcobalamin (active form) or Cyanocobalamin (stable synthetic form). Ensure the dosage per tablet (e.g., 500mcg, 1000mcg) aligns with your target market's health regulations. The product should meet Pharmacopoeia standards such as USP (US Pharmacopeia), BP (British Pharmacopoeia), or EP (European Pharmacopoeia) to guarantee purity and potency.

Suppliers must possess GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice) certification to ensure consistent quality control. For entry into the US, FDA Registration is required; for the EU, compliance with EFSA regulations is necessary. Additionally, ISO 22000 or HACCP certifications are vital for food safety management. If targeting specific niches, look for Halal, Kosher, or Non-GMO project verified certifications.

Request a Stability Testing Report from the manufacturer, which details how the product maintains its integrity under various temperature and humidity conditions. The standard shelf life for Vitamin B12 tablets is typically 24 to 36 months. Ensure the packaging materials (e.g., HDPE bottles or Alu-Alu blisters) provide adequate moisture and light protection to prevent degradation of the active ingredients.

B2B buyers should inquire about private labeling services, including custom formulation (e.g., sublingual, chewable, or time-release tablets). Discuss Minimum Order Quantities (MOQ) for custom packaging designs. Professional suppliers on Made-in-China.com often provide mock-up designs and can adjust excipients to meet vegan or allergen-free requirements.

The biggest risk is Customs Seizure due to non-compliant labeling or prohibited ingredients. Always ensure the Certificate of Analysis (COA) matches the actual batch delivered. Another risk is Product Degradation during transit; use temperature-controlled shipping or moisture-absorbent silica gel packs if shipping through tropical climates.

Negotiate based on volume tiers; for orders exceeding 500,000 tablets, you can typically achieve a 15-20% price reduction. Use Secure Payment services or Letters of Credit (L/C) for large first-time orders to mitigate financial risk. Always clarify if the quoted price is FOB (Free On Board) or CIF (Cost, Insurance, and Freight) to avoid hidden logistics costs.

Ensure all Master Cartons are clearly labeled with Batch Numbers, Manufacture Dates, and Expiry Dates. For air freight, which is recommended for high-value supplements to reduce transit time, ensure the MSDS (Material Safety Data Sheet) is provided to the carrier. For sea freight, use pallets with shrink-wrap to prevent physical damage and moisture ingress.

Conduct a Factory Audit or hire a third-party inspection firm like SGS or Intertek to verify the supplier's production line before final payment. Prioritize Audited Suppliers on Made-in-China.com, as these companies have undergone rigorous background and capability checks by independent agencies.
