Video recording smart glasses manufacturers

When sourcing video recording smart glasses, you must prioritize Camera Resolution (minimum 1080P Full HD, though 4K is preferred for professional use) and Frame Rate (at least 30fps for smooth playback). Additionally, check the Field of View (FOV); a wide angle of 90° to 120° is ideal for capturing first-person perspectives. Ensure the device uses High-Efficiency Video Coding (H.265) to optimize storage space without sacrificing image quality.

For B2B applications, look for a battery capacity of at least 400mAh to 600mAh, providing 60–90 minutes of continuous recording. Regarding storage, prioritize models with expandable MicroSD card slots (up to 128GB or 256GB) rather than fixed internal memory, as this allows for easier data management and prevents downtime when the storage is full.

Electronic wearables must meet strict regional standards. For the US market, FCC certification is mandatory for radio frequency devices. For the EU, CE marking and RoHS compliance (Restriction of Hazardous Substances) are required. Since these glasses sit close to the face, ensure the frames meet ANSI Z87.1 or EN166 if they are marketed as protective or safety eyewear.

The lenses should be UV400 polarized to protect the user's eyes during outdoor recording. For industrial or indoor use, look for Blue Light Blocking or Anti-fog coatings. If your clients require prescription lenses, verify if the supplier offers detachable frames or RX-compatible designs that allow for optical lens replacement.

Smart glasses often involve patented designs or software. Always ask the supplier for Patent Authorization Letters or Design Patents. When sourcing from Made-in-China.com, prioritize Audited Suppliers who have undergone third-party verification of their manufacturing capabilities and legal standing to ensure you are not purchasing counterfeit technology.

Start by requesting a Product Sample to test the actual video clarity and build quality. Negotiate based on Total Cost of Ownership (TCO), including shipping and customs duties. For bulk orders, aim for a 30% deposit and 70% balance payment after a successful Pre-Shipment Inspection (PSI) by a third-party agency like SGS or Intertek.

Products with integrated batteries are classified as Dangerous Goods (UN3481). Ensure the supplier provides a Material Safety Data Sheet (MSDS) and a UN38.3 Test Report. Use specialized electronics forwarders who are experienced in Battery-Inclusive Air Freight to avoid customs seizures or shipping delays.

Utilize Secured Payment Services provided by reputable platforms to ensure funds are only released upon confirmation of delivery. Always define a clear Quality Warranty Period (typically 12 to 24 months) in the contract, specifying the process for RMA (Return Merchandise Authorization) and who bears the cost of return shipping for defective units.
