Used crusher manufacturers

When sourcing a used crusher, you must prioritize the mechanical integrity of the wear parts and the motor efficiency. Key specs include the Crushing Ratio, Maximum Feed Size, and Production Capacity (t/h). Ensure the Jaw Plates (for jaw crushers) or Mantles/Cones (for cone crushers) have at least 60-70% of their service life remaining. Additionally, verify the power requirements (kW/HP) to ensure compatibility with your local power grid and the discharge opening adjustment range for final product sizing.

Request a comprehensive maintenance log and operational video showing the machine running under load. Pay close attention to abnormal vibrations or noises from the main bearings and eccentric shafts. It is highly recommended to check for welding repairs on the main frame, as these can indicate past structural failures. For hydraulic models, verify there are no leaks in the hydraulic lubrication system and that the oil temperature remains stable during operation.

The equipment should ideally carry a CE Marking for European markets or meet OSHA/MSHA standards for the US. Ensure the unit includes safety guards for all moving belts and flywheels. Since this is used machinery, you must obtain a Pre-shipment Inspection Certificate (PSI), such as those provided by SGS or CCIC, to confirm the machine's condition matches the proforma invoice and meets the destination country's environmental and safety regulations.

The choice depends on the material hardness and abrasiveness. For primary crushing of hard rocks like granite or basalt, a Used Jaw Crusher is ideal due to its high compression strength. For secondary or tertiary crushing to produce aggregate or sand, a Used Cone Crusher or Impact Crusher is preferred for better particle shape. If the project requires frequent relocation, prioritize Track-mounted Mobile Crushing Plants over stationary units.

The biggest risks include hidden structural fatigue, non-functional components not visible in photos, and import bans on used equipment in certain countries. To mitigate this, always use Secure Payment Services provided by reputable platforms like Made-in-China.com to ensure funds are only released after shipping documents are verified. Never pay 100% upfront via T/T to an unverified supplier.

Focus your negotiation on the refurbishment scope. Instead of just asking for a lower price, negotiate for the replacement of high-wear items (like liners, belts, and filters) or the inclusion of a spare parts kit for the first 1,000 hours of operation. Ask for a performance guarantee period, even if it is limited to 3-6 months, to ensure the supplier stands behind the machine's condition.

Used crushers are heavy and often oversized. You must decide between Breakbulk shipping or Flat Rack containers. Ensure the supplier provides a professional lashing and rust-prevention plan, especially for machined surfaces like shafts and flywheels, to prevent sea-salt corrosion. Verify the HS Code (typically 847420) with your local customs broker to confirm the import duty rates and any specific fumigation requirements for wooden packaging.

Prioritize Audited Suppliers on Made-in-China.com who have undergone third-party onsite inspections. Request a live video call to see the machine in the supplier's yard with a timestamp. Check if the supplier has a history of exporting to your region, as they will be more familiar with the specific documentation (like CO, Form E, or SASO) required for smooth customs clearance.
