Urinal divider manufacturers

When sourcing urinal dividers, prioritize Compact Laminate (HPL), Stainless Steel (304 grade), or Tempered Glass. HPL is the industry standard due to its waterproof, impact-resistant, and anti-bacterial properties. For high-end commercial projects, 12mm thickness is the benchmark for structural stability. Ensure the surface is non-porous to prevent the growth of mold and facilitate easy cleaning with standard disinfectants.

Buyers must confirm that the dividers come with 304 Stainless Steel or Nylon-coated hardware to prevent corrosion in humid restroom environments. Specify the mounting type: Wall-hung (T-shape or U-shape brackets) is most common for ease of floor cleaning, while floor-to-ceiling supports offer maximum stability. Always request installation blueprints and ensure the hardware kit includes anti-theft screws for public facility security.

For the US market, dividers must comply with ADA (Americans with Disabilities Act) standards regarding mounting heights and clearance. In the EU, look for CE marking and EN 438 standards for high-pressure laminates. Additionally, ensure the materials meet Class A or Class B Fire Rating (ASTM E84) to satisfy local building codes and safety regulations.

Most professional manufacturers on Made-in-China.com offer OEM/ODM services. You can customize the dimensions (standard is usually 400x900mm), corner shapes (radiused vs. square), and color finishes (wood grain, solid colors, or frosted textures). For branding, inquire about CNC precision cutting for custom shapes or laser-engraved logos.

Urinal dividers, especially those made of glass or HPL, are prone to edge chipping. Require the supplier to use reinforced honeycomb cardboard packaging with EPE foam corner protectors. For LCL (Less than Container Load) shipments, mandate wooden crate palletization to prevent compression damage. It is highly recommended to use Made-in-China.com's Secured Trading Service to ensure the goods match the quality inspection before final payment.

Focus on the Total Landed Cost rather than just the unit price. Negotiate for spare hardware sets (3-5% extra) to be included at no cost, as these are often lost on construction sites. If ordering in bulk (e.g., >200 units), request a 15-20% discount or a reduction in the sample fee, which should be credited back to the main order.

Verify the HS Code (typically 3925.90 for plastic/HPL or 7326.90 for steel) with your customs broker to determine the exact tariff rate. Be aware of anti-dumping duties that may apply to specific materials in certain regions. Ensure the supplier provides a clear Commercial Invoice, Packing List, and Certificate of Origin to avoid delays at the port of entry.

Hire a third-party inspection agency (like SGS or Intertek) to perform a Random Pre-Shipment Inspection (FRI). The inspector should check for dimensional accuracy (tolerance within ±1mm), edge banding smoothness, and hardware fitment. Request a video of a 'dry-fit' assembly from the factory floor to ensure all brackets align perfectly with the pre-drilled holes.
