Unic crane factory manufacturers

When selecting a crane, prioritize the lifting capacity (tonnage) and maximum working radius to ensure it meets your specific operational needs. Key components to inspect include the hexagonal boom structure, which offers superior structural rigidity and reduces swaying compared to square booms. Ensure the hydraulic system utilizes high-pressure gear pumps and multi-way valves for smooth telescopic and hoisting actions. Additionally, verify the outrigger span for stability and the presence of 360-degree continuous rotation capabilities for maximum maneuverability.

Suppliers must provide ISO 9001:2015 certification for quality management. For the equipment itself, ensure compliance with CE marking (Europe) or ANSI/ASME B30.5 (USA) standards. Crucial safety features that must be factory-installed include an Automatic Stop Device for Over-winding, a Load Moment Indicator (LMI) to prevent tipping, and hydraulic safety valves that lock the cylinders in case of a hose failure. Always request a Load Test Report conducted at 125% of the rated capacity before shipment.

The boom should be constructed from high-tensile strength steel (e.g., HG785 or Weldox 700) to balance weight and lifting power. Inquire about the welding process; top-tier factories use robotic welding to ensure seam consistency and structural integrity. Furthermore, check the surface treatment, such as sandblasting followed by epoxy zinc-rich primer, to ensure long-term corrosion resistance in harsh outdoor environments.

A reputable factory should offer OEM/ODM services, including custom paint colors to match your fleet branding, specialized attachments (like brick clamps, timber grabs, or work buckets), and remote control systems (e.g., Scanreco or HBC) for enhanced operator safety. They should also be able to modify the mounting base to fit specific truck chassis brands like ISUZU, HINO, or SHACMAN.

Utilize Third-Party Inspection (TPI) services such as SGS or BV to conduct a pre-shipment inspection at the factory. For secure transactions, use the Secured Trading services on Made-in-China.com, which ensures payment is only released after the buyer confirms receipt and inspection. Avoid paying 100% upfront; a standard 30% deposit and 70% balance against the Bill of Lading (B/L) is common for established B2B relationships.

Focus on the Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) rather than just the unit price. Negotiate for a comprehensive spare parts kit (filters, seals, and sensors) to be included for the first two years of maintenance. Ask for a warranty extension (e.g., 18–24 months) on core components like the hydraulic pump and main valve. High-volume buyers should leverage Made-in-China.com's Diamond Member status of suppliers as a benchmark for reliability and negotiation power.

Cranes are heavy and oversized; ensure the factory uses proper anti-rust wax coating for sea transit. For shipping, Flat Rack containers or Breakbulk (Ro-Ro) are preferred to prevent damage during loading. Ensure the supplier provides a detailed packing list and HS Code (8426.1100) to avoid customs delays and ensure accurate calculation of import duties in your destination country.
