Toilet stool manufacturers

When selecting a toilet stool, prioritize ergonomic design with a standard height of 7 to 9 inches to ensure the user achieves the optimal 35-degree squatting posture. Material choice is critical; high-density polypropylene (PP) offers durability and chemical resistance, while sustainable bamboo appeals to eco-conscious markets. Ensure the stool features a non-slip surface and rubberized feet to prevent sliding on wet bathroom tiles. For logistics efficiency, look for stackable or foldable designs that significantly reduce shipping volumes and storage costs.

Safety is paramount for bathroom accessories. Ensure the product meets REACH or RoHS standards to guarantee the absence of harmful phthalates or heavy metals in the plastic. If targeting the US market, verify that the manufacturer follows FDA General Controls for Class I medical devices if marketed for health benefits. For wooden/bamboo stools, FSC (Forest Stewardship Council) certification is essential to prove sustainable sourcing. Always request a Load-Bearing Test Report confirming the stool can support at least 200-300 lbs without structural failure.

Request samples to perform a stress-crack resistance test, especially around the weight-bearing pillars. For plastic models, check for injection molding consistency; there should be no sharp burrs or 'silver streaks' which indicate weak points. For bamboo models, ensure a waterproof lacquer coating is applied to prevent mold growth in high-humidity environments. Check the anti-slip pads—high-quality TPE or silicone inserts are superior to cheap foam, which degrades quickly when exposed to cleaning chemicals.

The biggest risk is volumetric weight charges exceeding the product value due to the bulky nature of rigid stools. Mitigate this by sourcing knock-down (KD) or foldable designs. Another risk is intellectual property (IP) infringement; ensure the design does not violate active patents held by brands like Squatty Potty. Use Made-in-China.com's Secured Trading services to ensure your payment is only released after the goods pass a pre-shipment inspection (PSI).

Focus on Tiered Pricing based on annual volume rather than a single order. Ask for OEM/Private Labeling inclusions, such as custom embossed logos or branded color boxes, which are often negotiable at MOQs of 1,000+ units. Negotiate for spare parts, specifically extra rubber feet/pads (approx. 2-3% extra), to be included free of charge to handle potential after-sales claims without shipping individual replacements.

For large volumes, Sea Freight (FCL/LCL) is the only economically viable method. If shipping to the US or Europe, utilize DDP (Delivered Duty Paid) terms if you lack a local import license, as the supplier handles all customs formalities. Ensure the Master Carton (5-ply corrugated) is reinforced to withstand high humidity during sea transit, and verify that the HS Code (typically 3924.90 for plastic or 4419.90 for bamboo) is correctly declared to avoid customs delays or incorrect duty assessments.
