Modern restaurants bars manufacturers

For modern restaurant bars, durability is paramount. You should prioritize artificial stone (quartz) or sintered stone for countertops due to their non-porous, scratch-resistant, and stain-resistant properties. For the internal structure, ensure the use of 304 stainless steel or E0/E1 grade moisture-proof plywood to prevent warping in humid environments. Avoid low-density particle boards which fail under commercial cleaning regimes.

A professional bar should adhere to standard dimensions: a counter height of 105-110cm for patrons and a working ledge height of 85-90cm for bartenders. Ensure the design includes a recessed toe kick (approx. 10cm high) and integrated wire management channels for POS systems and LED lighting. Request CAD or 3D rendering services from the supplier to verify spatial flow before production.

To meet global safety standards, ensure the products comply with BIFMA (Business and Institutional Furniture Manufacturers Association) for structural integrity. For upholstery (bar stools/booths), materials must meet fire retardant standards such as CAL 117 (US) or BS 5852 (UK). Additionally, verify that all adhesives and coatings are Low-VOC to ensure indoor air quality compliance.

Yes, high-end suppliers on Made-in-China.com offer deep customization. You should specify requirements for built-in cooling wells, integrated sinks, and pre-drilled holes for draft beer towers. Ensure the supplier provides technical drawings showing the compatibility with your specific under-counter appliances (fridges, dishwashers) to avoid costly on-site modifications.

Bar counters are often bulky and fragile. Insist on Five-Layer Corrugated Cartons combined with EPE foam protection and solid wooden crate packaging (fumigated). For large modular units, request knock-down (KD) packaging to reduce shipping volume and costs, but ensure a detailed assembly manual or video is provided.

Focus on the Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) rather than just the unit price. Negotiate for spare parts (such as extra LED controllers, hinges, or fabric swatches) to be included at no cost. For large projects, propose a staged payment plan (e.g., 30% deposit, 60% after video inspection, 10% after receiving goods) to maintain leverage over quality.

Look for Audited Suppliers who have undergone third-party verification by agencies like SGS or Bureau Veritas. Check their Export Experience—suppliers who regularly ship to your target country will be more familiar with local customs requirements and ISF filing (for US buyers) or CE marking (for EU buyers).

Due to the size, LCL (Less than Container Load) can be expensive and risky for furniture. If your order exceeds 15-20 cubic meters, a 20GP or 40HQ Full Container Load (FCL) is more economical and safer. Always clarify the Incoterms; CIF is convenient for beginners, but FOB allows you better control over the shipping timeline and local port fees.
