Seal stamp manufacturers

For B2B procurement, the material determines durability and application. Brass or Zinc Alloy heads are preferred for wax seals due to their high thermal conductivity and crisp impression quality. For office or logistics use, Self-inking stamps should utilize high-density ABS plastic for the housing and oil-resistant rubber for the die to ensure a lifespan of over 10,000 impressions. If sourcing for high-end corporate gifts, natural stone (like Qingtian or Shoushan) or solid wood (Sandalwood) handles add significant perceived value.

When importing to the US or EU, ensure the ink components are non-toxic and comply with REACH or ASTM D-4236 standards. For children's toy stamps, EN71 certification is mandatory. Additionally, verify that any wood components have a FSC (Forest Stewardship Council) certification to meet environmental sustainability requirements and avoid customs delays related to illegal logging regulations.

To achieve a high-quality mark, specify a laser engraving depth of at least 0.5mm to 0.8mm for wax seals to prevent sticking. For rubber stamps, a resolution of 600 DPI or higher is necessary for intricate logos. Always request the supplier to provide a digital mock-up (PDF or AI format) and a physical strike-off sample to verify line thickness, as lines thinner than 0.2mm may not render clearly in wax or ink.

Flash Stamps (Pre-inked) offer the highest resolution and do not require a separate ink pad, making them ideal for detailed signatures and photographic images. However, Traditional Rubber Stamps are more economical for large-scale industrial use and allow for easy switching between different ink colors or specialized inks (like UV ink or permanent textile ink) using external pads.

Ensure you have the legal right or authorization to use the logos being produced. Reputable suppliers on Made-in-China.com will often ask for a Trademark Authorization Letter. Avoid ordering stamps that mimic government seals, notary marks, or famous brand logos without explicit permission, as these items are frequently seized by customs and can lead to legal penalties.

Since seal stamps are high-density but low-volume, Air Freight is suitable for small batches (under 100kg) to maintain stock levels. For bulk orders exceeding 200kg, Sea Freight (LCL - Less than Container Load) is significantly more cost-effective. Be aware that ink is classified as a liquid/gel, which may require a MSDS (Material Safety Data Sheet) for air transport; sourcing dry stamps and ink pads separately can often simplify logistics and reduce shipping costs.

Focus on the MOQ (Minimum Order Quantity) vs. Unit Price trade-off. For orders over 5,000 units, you should aim for a 15-25% discount off the sample price. Negotiate for free mold sets if the order volume is high, and always clarify if the quoted price includes customized retail packaging, as this can add $0.20 - $0.50 per unit if not discussed upfront.

Always use Secured Payment services provided by Made-in-China.com to ensure your funds are only released after you confirm receipt of the goods. For large contracts, insist on a 30% deposit and 70% balance payment after a third-party pre-shipment inspection (PSI). This prevents the risk of receiving sub-standard products that do not match the approved sample.
