Round acrylic beads manufacturers

High-quality acrylic beads should exhibit high transparency (92% light transmission) and a glass-like luster without the weight. Ensure the beads are made from 100% virgin PMMA (Polymethyl Methacrylate) rather than recycled plastics, which can lead to yellowing or cloudiness over time. Check for seamless molding and the absence of visible injection points or 'burrs' that could snag jewelry thread.

Buyers must specify the hole diameter consistency, typically ranging from 1.0mm to 2.5mm, to ensure compatibility with standard jewelry wires or elastic cords. For colored beads, verify colorfastness through UV exposure tests to prevent fading. If purchasing 'AB coating' or electroplated finishes, confirm the adhesion strength to ensure the coating does not peel during high-friction use.

Since beads are often used in children's crafts or wearable jewelry, they must comply with EN71-3 (Safety of Toys) in the EU and CPSIA (Consumer Product Safety Improvement Act) in the US. Specifically, ensure the beads are Lead-free, Phthalate-free, and Cadmium-free. Request SGS or Intertek lab reports from the supplier before finalizing the purchase.

Acrylic beads are lightweight, so shipping costs per unit decrease significantly with volume. Aim for MOQs of 5,000 to 10,000 pieces per color/size to unlock wholesale pricing, which can be 30-50% lower than retail-ready packs. Consider factory-direct sourcing on Made-in-China.com to bypass middleman markups and negotiate custom packaging (e.g., bulk bags vs. sorted boxes) to reduce weight.

Establish a Golden Sample protocol where a signed sample is kept by both parties. For large shipments, hire a third-party inspection service to perform an AQL (Acceptable Quality Limit) 2.5 inspection before the final payment is released to ensure the bulk production matches the approved sample.

Focus on long-term partnership potential rather than just the lowest price. Ask for tiered pricing based on annual volume. On Made-in-China.com, prioritize Audited Suppliers as they have undergone rigorous on-site verification, giving you more leverage to negotiate flexible payment terms (e.g., 30/70 T/T).

For orders under 100kg, Air Express (DHL/FedEx) is fastest but costly. For bulk inventory, Sea Freight (LCL - Less than Container Load) is the most economical. Ensure the supplier provides a detailed Packing List and Commercial Invoice with the correct HS Code (3926.90) to avoid customs delays and ensure accurate duty calculation.

Always use secure payment channels and avoid direct transfers to private bank accounts. Utilize the Star Direct or secured trading services provided by Made-in-China.com to ensure that funds are only released once shipping documents (like the Bill of Lading) are verified, protecting your capital from fraud.
