Restaurant dining table chair manufacturers

For high-traffic environments, prioritize kiln-dried solid wood (such as ash or beech) or heavy-duty metal frames (steel or aluminum) with a wall thickness of at least 1.2mm to 1.5mm. If opting for upholstery, ensure the fabric has a Martindale rub count of 30,000+ to guarantee durability. For outdoor settings, specify UV-resistant polypropylene or powder-coated finishes to prevent corrosion and fading.

Ensure products meet EN 16139:2013 (European standard for strength, durability, and safety in non-domestic seating) or BIFMA X5.1 (US standard for office/commercial furniture). For fire safety, upholstery must comply with BS 5852 (UK) or CAL 117 (USA). Always request ISO 9001 certification from the manufacturer to ensure consistent quality management systems.

The standard seat height should be 45-48cm to pair correctly with 75cm dining tables. Look for stackable designs (up to 4-6 units) if the space requires frequent reconfiguration or easy cleaning. Ensure the chair legs are equipped with heavy-duty nylon or felt glides to protect flooring and reduce noise during service.

Request mortise and tenon joints reinforced with corner blocks and industrial-grade screws for wooden chairs. For metal chairs, verify full-weld points rather than spot welding. Ask the supplier for static load test reports; a commercial chair should safely support a minimum of 150kg (330 lbs).

Insist on 5-layer corrugated export cartons with EPE foam edge protectors and reinforced corner guards. For LCL (Less than Container Load) shipments, request palletization and shrink-wrapping to prevent moisture ingress and handling damage. It is highly recommended to use Made-in-China.com's inspection services to verify packaging integrity before the balance payment is made.

Focus on Total Landed Cost rather than just the unit price. Negotiate for spare parts (2-3% extra glides, screws, or fabric swatches) to be included at no cost. For large volumes, propose a staged payment plan (e.g., 30% deposit, 70% after passing a third-party QC inspection) to maintain leverage over quality.

Verify if the wood species requires a Phytosanitary Certificate or Fumigation Certificate to clear customs in your country (common for US, AU, and EU markets). Ensure the supplier provides a detailed Packing List and Commercial Invoice with correct HS Codes (typically Chapter 94) to avoid tariff classification errors and delays.

Utilize Secured Trading Services provided by Made-in-China.com to protect your payment until delivery is confirmed. Always conduct a factory audit or request a VR showroom tour to confirm the supplier is a legitimate manufacturer and not a middleman with no quality control over the production line.
