Quartz stainless steel back watch manufacturers

When sourcing these timepieces, prioritize the movement quality, typically favoring Japanese (Miyota/Seiko) or Swiss (Ronda) quartz movements for accuracy and longevity. The 'Stainless Steel Back' label implies the case body might be alloy; therefore, ensure the plating is IP (Ion Plating) rather than acid plating to prevent premature fading. For the crystal, hardened mineral glass or sapphire-coated glass is recommended to ensure scratch resistance in B2B retail environments.

For the US market, ensure compliance with CPSC lead content limits and California Proposition 65. For the EU, products must meet CE marking requirements and REACH regulations, specifically testing for Nickel release (EN 1811) to prevent skin allergies. Additionally, verify the RoHS certification for electronic components within the quartz movement to ensure no hazardous substances are present.

Clearly define the ATM (Atmosphere) rating based on the end-user scenario. 3 ATM (30 meters) is standard for 'splash-proof' everyday wear, while 5 ATM is preferred for watches that may be worn during showering. For sports-oriented quartz watches, aim for 10 ATM. Always request batch pressure test reports from the supplier to verify these claims before shipment.

Look for alignment of the second hand with the dial markers, which is a hallmark of precision assembly. The crown should have a distinct 'click' when pulled to different positions, and the case back engraving should be deep and clear. For the strap, if using genuine leather, check for edge-paint consistency; if using stainless steel bands, ensure solid links rather than folded ones for a premium feel.

Implement a Third-Party Pre-Shipment Inspection (PSI) focusing on the AQL 2.5/4.0 standard. Specifically, instruct inspectors to perform a time-accuracy test over 24 hours and a battery leakage check. Using Made-in-China.com's Secured Trading services can provide an additional layer of payment protection, ensuring funds are only released upon successful inspection.

Standard MOQs for custom logos (OEM) usually range from 300 to 500 pieces. To lower initial risk, negotiate a 'Sample First' policy where the sample fee is credited back to the bulk order. If you require multiple dial colors, ask the supplier to allow color mixing within the same case mold to meet the MOQ without overstocking a single SKU.

Quartz watches contain button cell batteries, classified as UN3091 (Lithium metal batteries contained in equipment). You must ensure the supplier provides a Material Safety Data Sheet (MSDS) and a UN38.3 Test Report. For air freight, use specialized couriers familiar with Dangerous Goods (DG) regulations to avoid customs seizures or airline rejection.

Before sharing design files, sign a Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA). Ensure your trademark is registered in both the sourcing country (to prevent 'squatting') and the destination market. When sourcing via Made-in-China.com, prioritize Audited Suppliers who have verified manufacturing facilities, as they are more likely to respect IP rights compared to unverified trading companies.
