Puf panel manufacturers

When sourcing PUF panels, the core density is the most critical factor; for optimal thermal insulation, a density of 38-42 kg/m³ is the industry standard. You must also specify the skin material thickness, typically ranging from 0.4mm to 0.8mm, using Pre-Painted Galvanized Steel (PPGI) or Stainless Steel (SS304) for food-grade environments. Additionally, ensure the thermal conductivity (K-value) is approximately 0.022 W/m.k to guarantee energy efficiency.

B2B buyers should prioritize panels with a B1 or B2 Fire Rating according to DIN 4102 or ASTM E84 standards to ensure flame retardancy. It is essential to verify ISO 9001:2015 certification for manufacturing consistency. For international trade, request CE Marking or FM Global Approval if the project requires high-level insurance compliance and structural safety validation.

For superior airtightness, look for panels featuring a Cam-lock (Tongue and Groove) joining mechanism, which allows for easy onsite assembly and airtight seals. In large-scale industrial builds, hidden screw systems or Z-lock joints are preferred to prevent water leakage and enhance the aesthetic finish. Ensure the supplier provides silicone sealants and flashing accessories that are compatible with the specific joint design.

PUF panels are versatile: 50mm-75mm thickness is suitable for cleanrooms and ambient partitions; 100mm is standard for chiller rooms (0°C to 10°C); and 150mm-200mm is mandatory for blast freezers (-35°C or below). Choosing the correct thickness based on the temperature delta is vital for reducing compressor load and operational costs.

The greatest risk is physical damage (denting or scratching) during sea transit. Ensure the supplier uses PE protective film on both sides of the panel and employs steel pallets or reinforced wooden crates for container loading. To maximize container utilization, request a loading plan to ensure panels are stacked by size, preventing crushing of the bottom layers.

PUF panel pricing is highly sensitive to steel coil and MDI/Polyol raw material costs. Negotiate based on Total Square Meters (SQM) rather than pieces. For large projects exceeding 500 SQM, you can typically negotiate a 5-10% discount. Always clarify if the quoted price includes accessories like aluminum profiles, corners, and coving, as these can add significant hidden costs if not bundled.

Use secured payment terms such as Letter of Credit (L/C) for large volumes or Trade Assurance services provided by platforms like Made-in-China.com. Never transfer full payment upfront; a standard 30% deposit and 70% balance against the Bill of Lading (B/L) or after a third-party pre-shipment inspection (like SGS or BV) is the safest practice to verify quality before the goods leave the factory.

Verify the HS Code (typically 3921 or 7308) to check for anti-dumping duties in your specific country, especially for steel-faced panels. Because PUF panels are high-volume but relatively low-weight, shipping costs are calculated by volume; therefore, FCL (Full Container Load) is significantly more cost-effective than LCL. Ensure the supplier provides a Certificate of Origin to benefit from potential Free Trade Agreement (FTA) duty reductions.
