Plastic bottle carrier manufacturers

B2B buyers should prioritize High-Density Polyethylene (HDPE) or Polypropylene (PP). HDPE is preferred for its superior impact resistance and ability to withstand low temperatures in cold-chain logistics, while PP offers excellent chemical resistance and flexural strength for repeated hinge use. Ensure the material includes UV stabilizers if the carriers will be exposed to sunlight during outdoor distribution to prevent brittleness.

Request a Static Load Test report where the carrier is loaded to 1.5 times its rated capacity for 48 hours without deformation. For manual handling, ensure the handle ergonomics include rounded edges to prevent worker injury. If using automated bottling lines, verify dimensional tolerances within ±0.5mm to prevent jamming in conveyor systems.

Since these carriers often come into proximity with food packaging, they must meet FDA (US) or EC 1935/2004 (EU) food contact safety standards. Ensure the supplier provides BPA-free certification and migration test reports. For international shipping, look for ISO 9001 for quality management and ISO 14001 if your brand requires environmental sustainability proof.

Yes, most professional manufacturers on Made-in-China.com offer OEM/ODM services. You can request custom mold development for unique bottle shapes (e.g., square craft beer bottles). For branding, Silk-screen printing or In-Mold Labeling (IML) are recommended for high-durability logos that won't peel off during industrial washing cycles.

Specify the ratio of virgin plastic to recycled content in your contract. Pure virgin material is best for longevity. Use a third-party inspection service (like SGS or Intertek) to perform a 'Drop Test' at the factory: dropping a fully loaded carrier from a height of 1.5 meters onto a hard surface. If it cracks, the batch should be rejected.

Plastic carriers are 'volumetric' cargo. To optimize costs, choose stackable or collapsible designs to maximize container utilization. Negotiate FOB (Free On Board) terms to maintain control over your freight forwarder and ensure the goods are shipped via 40ft HC (High Cube) containers, which offer the best value for lightweight, bulky plastic items.

Utilize the Secured Trading services provided by Made-in-China.com to protect your payment. Never wire full payments upfront to unverified accounts. A standard professional payment structure is 30% deposit and 70% balance against the Bill of Lading (B/L) after a successful pre-shipment inspection.

Check the HS Code (typically 3923.90) for plastic transport goods in your country to calculate import duties. Be aware of Anti-Dumping duties or Single-Use Plastic bans in regions like the EU; ensure your product is classified as 'Multi-use/Durable' rather than disposable to avoid regulatory hurdles.
