Oxygen tablets manufacturers

Buyers should prioritize the active oxygen content, typically ranging from 10% to 15% for sodium percarbonate-based tablets. Ensure the release duration matches your needs; long-lasting formulas can provide oxygen for 6–10 hours, while quick-release versions act within minutes. Additionally, verify the solubility rate to ensure no harmful residue is left in the water column.

Since oxygen tablets are chemical products, they must have a valid MSDS (Material Safety Data Sheet). For maritime transport, a DGM Report (Identification and Classification Report for Air/Sea Transport of Goods) is essential to determine if they are classified as Class 5.1 Oxidizing Substances. Ensure the manufacturer holds ISO 9001 for quality management and GMP if the tablets are for veterinary or specialized use.

For aquaculture (shrimp/fish farming), choose tablets with bottom-acting technology to improve dissolved oxygen at the pond floor. For emergency transport of live seafood, high-concentration effervescent tablets are preferred for immediate oxygenation. For wastewater treatment, focus on tablets that also offer oxidative degradation of organic matter to reduce COD levels.

Analyze the cost-to-performance ratio by calculating the price per gram of available oxygen rather than just the price per bucket. Bulk buyers should look for MOQs of 500kg to 1 ton to access wholesale pricing, which can be 20-40% lower than retail. Consider the shelf life (usually 12–24 months); purchasing excessive stock without proper climate-controlled storage can lead to chemical degradation and financial loss.

The main risk is moisture and heat sensitivity. Oxygen tablets are oxidizers; if they come into contact with water or high temperatures during transit, they can release oxygen rapidly, potentially causing container pressurization or fire hazards. Always insist on vacuum-sealed inner packaging and palletized shipping with clear 'Keep Dry' and 'Away from Heat' labels.

Request a pre-shipment inspection (PSI) by a third party like SGS or Intertek to test the active ingredient percentage. Negotiate a contract clause that specifies a refund or replacement if the oxygen generation rate falls below the agreed threshold upon arrival. Ask the supplier to provide real-time production photos and batch-specific Certificate of Analysis (COA).

You must confirm if your local port accepts Hazardous Materials (HazMat). Use FOB (Free On Board) terms to maintain control over the specialized chemical carrier. Ensure the supplier provides the UN Number (usually UN3378 or UN1479) and proper IMDG (International Maritime Dangerous Goods) documentation to avoid customs seizures or heavy fines at the destination port.

Utilize Secured Trading Services provided by Made-in-China.com to ensure payment is only released after the shipping documents are verified. For first-time orders, use a Letter of Credit (L/C) for large amounts or Escrow services for mid-sized orders to mitigate the risk of non-delivery or sub-standard chemical purity.
