Niacinamide manufacturers

When sourcing Niacinamide, you must prioritize purity levels (typically ≥99%) and the Nicotinic Acid (Niacin) content, which should be less than 100ppm to prevent skin flushing or irritation. Ensure the product meets USP (United States Pharmacopeia) or EP (European Pharmacopoeia) standards. Additionally, verify the solubility in water and pH stability range (ideally 5.0–7.0) to ensure compatibility with your final formulation.

Professional B2B buyers should request a Certificate of Analysis (COA) for every batch and verify that the manufacturer holds ISO 22716 (GMP for Cosmetics) or cGMP (Current Good Manufacturing Practice) certifications. For international markets, check for REACH registration (EU) or FDA VCRP compliance. If targeting the organic market, look for COSMOS or ECOCERT approved raw materials.

Niacinamide is a versatile active ingredient used primarily in anti-aging serums, skin-brightening creams, and acne treatments. Its functions include strengthening the skin barrier, reducing sebum production, and fading hyperpigmentation. In the feed industry, it is used as a nutritional additive to improve metabolic health in livestock, though the grade required for feed is different from the cosmetic or pharmaceutical grades.

The biggest risks include batch-to-batch inconsistency and contamination during transit. To mitigate this, always use Made-in-China.com's Secured Trading services and insist on pre-shipment inspection (PSI) by third parties like SGS or Intertek. Ensure the packaging is vacuum-sealed and moisture-proof to prevent degradation during sea freight.

Niacinamide pricing is sensitive to raw material costs (3-cyanopyridine). Negotiate based on volume tiers; for example, orders over 500kg to 1 ton usually qualify for a 10-15% discount. For new formulations, request a paid sample (100g-500g) before committing to a large MOQ to test compatibility with your base ingredients.

Niacinamide is generally classified as non-hazardous for transport, but you must provide a Material Safety Data Sheet (MSDS) and a Non-Hazardous Chemical Declaration to the freight forwarder. Ensure the HS Code (typically 293629) is correctly declared to avoid customs delays and ensure you are applying the correct import duty rates for your specific country.

Utilize the Audit Reports available on Made-in-China.com to verify the supplier's factory existence and production capacity. Always use Escrow-based payment terms or Letters of Credit (L/C) for large-scale industrial orders to ensure funds are only released upon verification of shipping documents and quality compliance.
