Motor 80cc bike manufacturers

When sourcing an 80cc bike, prioritize the engine type (usually 2-stroke single cylinder) and its power output (typically 2.5kw - 3kw). Ensure the bore and stroke are approximately 47mm x 40mm for a true 80cc displacement. Check the fuel-to-oil mixing ratio (usually 16:1 for break-in and 20:1 after) and verify the cooling system efficiency (air-cooled) to prevent overheating during long-distance use.

For the US market, EPA (Environmental Protection Agency) certification is critical for emissions compliance. For the EU, look for CE marking and adherence to Euro 5 emission standards if applicable. Additionally, ensure the manufacturer follows ISO 9001 for quality management and that the frame meets EN 14764 or similar safety standards for city and trekking bicycles to ensure structural integrity.

Focus on the braking system; high-performance models should feature front and rear disc brakes rather than standard V-brakes to handle the increased speed. Inspect the frame material, prioritizing reinforced steel or high-grade aluminum alloy to withstand engine vibrations. Request vibration test reports and verify the quality of the chain tensioner and heavy-duty drive chain (415 series) to prevent mechanical failure during operation.

These bikes are primarily used for short-distance commuting, delivery services, and recreational off-roading. Maintenance is crucial: buyers should be advised on regular spark plug inspections, carburetor cleaning, and tightening of engine mounting bolts which can loosen due to high-frequency vibration. Lubricating the drive chain every 500km is essential for longevity.

The biggest risks include customs seizure due to lack of emission certifications and shipping damage to the engine cooling fins. To mitigate this, use Made-in-China.com's Secured Trading Service to ensure payment is only released after quality verification. Always request double-wall corrugated export packaging with internal foam bracing for the engine unit.

Negotiate based on Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) rather than just the unit price. Ask for a 2-5% spare parts kit (including gaskets, spark plugs, and clutch pads) to be included in the bulk price. For orders exceeding 100 units, aim for a 10-15% discount and request OEM branding/logo silk-screening as a value-added service.

Since these contain internal combustion engines, they may be classified as Dangerous Goods (UN3166) depending on the shipping line. Ensure the supplier provides a Non-Hazardous Declaration by confirming the engines are drained of all fuel and oil before packing. For shipping to the US or Europe, utilize FCL (Full Container Load) to reduce per-unit shipping costs and minimize handling risks compared to LCL.

Look for the 'Audited Supplier' badge on Made-in-China.com, which indicates the supplier has been verified by third-party agencies like SGS or Bureau Veritas. Review their Audit Report to check their actual production capacity and factory floor photos. Prioritize suppliers with a Gold Member status and a history of high-volume exports to your target region.
