Motion sensor night lamp manufacturers

Buyers should prioritize PIR (Passive Infrared) sensor range, typically requiring a detection angle of 120 degrees and a distance of 3-5 meters. For illumination, look for a color temperature between 2700K and 3000K (warm white) to ensure eye comfort in dark environments. Additionally, verify the lumen output (usually 15-50 lumens) and battery capacity (minimum 500mAh for rechargeable models) to ensure long-term operational efficiency.

For the US market, products must have FCC certification and components should be UL listed. For the EU, CE marking (EMC and LVD directives) and RoHS compliance for hazardous substances are mandatory. If the lamp contains a lithium battery, a UN38.3 test report and MSDS (Material Safety Data Sheet) are essential for legal and safe international transport.

Request the supplier to provide sensor trigger life-cycle tests, aiming for at least 50,000 activations. Ensure the product features a light sensor (photocell) integration so the lamp only activates in low-light conditions, preventing unnecessary power consumption. Check for high-quality ABS or PC fire-retardant materials for the casing to ensure safety and impact resistance.

Design requirements vary by scenario: Magnetic mounts are preferred for hallways and closets for easy removal; plug-in models are better for permanent bathroom or kitchen installations to avoid charging cycles; and waterproof ratings (IP44 or higher) are necessary if the lamps are intended for damp environments like covered porches or laundry rooms.

The biggest risks include battery leakage or fire hazards during transit and customs seizure due to lack of proper certification. To mitigate this, always use reputable inspection services to conduct a pre-shipment inspection (PSI) and ensure the supplier provides authentic, verifiable certificates rather than photoshopped documents.

Focus on tiered pricing based on volume and request a sample fee refund upon the placement of a bulk order. Negotiate a 30% deposit and 70% balance payment after a successful third-party quality inspection. For long-term partnerships, ask for customized packaging (OEM) at lower MOQs to build your brand identity.

For high-value, low-weight items like night lamps, Air Express (DHL/FedEx/UPS) is fastest but costly. For better margins, use Sea Freight (LCL) or Rail Freight (for Europe) combined with 'Last Mile' delivery. Ensure the supplier uses double-walled corrugated export cartons and anti-static inner packaging to prevent damage during the multi-modal transit process.

Always conduct transactions through secure payment channels provided by professional platforms like Made-in-China.com, which offer audit services for suppliers. Avoid direct wire transfers to personal accounts. Verify the supplier's business license and check if they are a 'Diamond Member' or 'Audited Supplier' to ensure they have a proven track record in the industry.
