Mosquito killing mat manufacturers

The primary active ingredient is usually Prallethrin or d-Allethrin, typically at a concentration of 10mg to 15mg per mat. You should ensure the mat uses a high-quality wood fiber or paper carrier that allows for stable and slow release of the insecticide over 8 to 12 hours. The heating temperature of the compatible electric heater should be stable between 130°C and 165°C to ensure the active ingredient vaporizes effectively without burning the carrier.

As a chemical pesticide product, mosquito mats must comply with strict safety regulations. Buyers should verify MSDS (Material Safety Data Sheet) for chemical composition and UN3077/UN3082 classification for environmental hazards. For the European market, REACH and Biocidal Products Regulation (BPR) compliance is essential. For the US, EPA registration is required. Additionally, ensure the product meets ISO 9001 for manufacturing consistency and ISO 14001 for environmental management.

Request a Bio-efficacy Test Report from the supplier, which measures the KT50 (Knockdown Time for 50% of mosquitoes); a high-quality mat should achieve this within 15-30 minutes. For safety, ensure the fragrance used is IFRA (International Fragrance Association) compliant to prevent respiratory irritation. It is highly recommended to source from suppliers on Made-in-China.com who provide third-party lab testing for smoke levels and residue toxicity.

Mosquito mats have a typical shelf life of 2 to 3 years if stored correctly. They must be kept in a cool, dry, and well-ventilated warehouse, away from direct sunlight and food products. Ensure the outer foil packaging is airtight; any puncture will lead to the evaporation of active ingredients, rendering the product ineffective before it reaches the end consumer.

Mosquito mats are often classified as Class 9 Dangerous Goods (Environmentally Hazardous Substances) due to the pesticides. This requires specialized dangerous goods packaging and specific maritime declarations. Failure to declare correctly can lead to heavy fines or seizure at customs. Always work with a freight forwarder experienced in DG (Dangerous Goods) handling and ensure the supplier provides a Certificate for Safe Transport of Chemical Goods.

Standard MOQs for custom-branded (OEM) mosquito mats usually start at 100,000 to 300,000 mats. To optimize costs, negotiate based on annual volume rather than a single order. You can achieve a 10-15% price reduction by opting for standardized foil packaging instead of custom shapes. Use the Secured Trading Service on Made-in-China.com to ensure your payment is only released after the goods pass a pre-shipment inspection.

Many countries have Anti-Dumping Duties or specific import permits for insecticides. Before placing an order, check your local Ministry of Agriculture or Environmental Protection Agency for registration requirements. Importing unregistered pesticides can result in mandatory destruction of the cargo at the port of entry. Ensure the supplier can provide a Certificate of Free Sale to facilitate the registration process in your country.

Always conduct a Factory Audit to verify the supplier's production capacity and quality control lab. For transaction security, utilize Escrow services and define a clear Quality Agreement in the contract, specifying that the active ingredient content must be verified by a third-party inspector like SGS or Intertek before the final balance is paid.
