Mobile shampoo basin manufacturers

When sourcing for B2B purposes, prioritize high-density polyethylene (HDPE) or ABS plastic for the basin to ensure chemical resistance and durability. The adjustable height range should ideally span between 90cm to 130cm to accommodate various chair heights. Ensure the tilting mechanism is reinforced with a stainless steel tension knob to prevent sagging during use. For portable models, a drain hose length of at least 1.5 meters is standard for operational flexibility.

Look for basins equipped with a large-diameter drain hole and a removable hair trap/strainer to prevent plumbing clogs. If the unit includes a water tank, verify the pump's flow rate (ideally 3-5 liters per minute) and ensure the freshwater and wastewater tanks are clearly labeled and have a capacity of at least 10-20 liters for continuous mobile service without frequent refills.

For the North American market, ensure components meet UL or CSA standards if the unit includes an electric water heater. For the EU, CE marking is mandatory. Additionally, verify that the materials are BPA-free and meet REACH regulations to ensure no harmful chemicals leach into the water or touch the client's skin. ISO 9001 certification of the manufacturer is a strong indicator of consistent production quality.

The neck rest is the most critical comfort point; prioritize basins with a silicone or gel-padded neck cushion. The basin shape should be a deep-dish design to prevent water splashing. For mobile stylists, a five-star base with lockable swivel casters provides the best stability and maneuverability across different floor types.

Mobile shampoo basins are often bulky and prone to cracking if mishandled. Insist on 5-layer corrugated export cartons with custom-fit EPE foam inserts. Request a drop test report from the supplier. For large orders, shipping via palletized sea freight is safer than individual parcel shipping to reduce manual handling risks.

Start by requesting a sample unit to verify the plastic thickness and hinge stability. When moving to bulk, aim for a 15-20% discount for quantities exceeding 200 units. Negotiate OEM branding (logo printing) to be included for free if the order meets the supplier's 'Golden Tier' volume. Always use Trade Resources or secure payment methods provided by the platform to protect your deposit.

Be aware of Volumetric Weight charges. Because basins contain a lot of empty space, shipping costs can be high. Ask the supplier if they can nest the basins (stack them inside each other) or provide KD (Knocked-Down) packaging to reduce the shipping volume. Ensure the HS Code (typically 3922.10) is correctly declared to avoid customs delays or incorrect duty applications.

Hire a third-party inspection service to perform a water leakage test on 5-10% of the batch. They should check the stability of the telescopic pole under a 10kg load and ensure the color consistency matches the approved sample. Do not release the final 70% balance until the inspection report is 'Passed'.
