Microphone for iphone manufacturers

When sourcing microphones for iPhone, the connection interface is the most critical factor. You must prioritize MFi-certified (Made for iPhone) Lightning connectors for older models or USB-C connectors for the iPhone 15 series and later. Ensure the supplier provides plug-and-play functionality that does not require external drivers or third-party apps, as this significantly improves the end-user experience.

To ensure professional-grade sound, look for a Signal-to-Noise Ratio (SNR) of at least 70dB and a frequency response range of 20Hz to 20kHz. For wireless lavalier models, prioritize 2.4GHz digital transmission technology to minimize interference and ensure a stable operating range of at least 20-30 meters in open spaces.

Products must carry CE, FCC, and RoHS certifications to be legally sold in European and American markets. Additionally, since these devices contain lithium batteries (for wireless versions), you must verify the UN38.3 battery safety report and MSDS (Material Safety Data Sheet) to ensure compliance with international shipping regulations.

Request information on the housing material, preferring aluminum alloy or high-grade ABS plastic for impact resistance. For wireless models, check the battery cycle life, ensuring the charging case can provide at least 2-3 full recharges for the transmitters, extending total usage time to over 15 hours.

Always use secure payment methods and consider platforms like Made-in-China.com, which offer trade security services. Conduct a factory audit or request a video inspection to verify the supplier's production capacity and quality control processes before releasing the final 70% payment.

Shipping microphones with built-in batteries requires specialized dangerous goods (DG) handling. Ensure your freight forwarder is experienced in PI967 (batteries contained in equipment) regulations. For bulk orders to the US or EU, using DDP (Delivered Duty Paid) terms can simplify the process by including customs clearance and import duties in the shipping quote.

When requesting custom logos or packaging (OEM), the typical MOQ is 500-1000 units. Negotiate for a pre-production sample to be approved before mass production begins. Clearly define the defect rate threshold (usually <1%) and agree on a compensation or replacement policy for any units that fail during the warranty period.
