Mazda compressor price manufacturers

When sourcing Mazda compressors, you must verify the OEM Part Number (e.g., GJ6A-61-K00 for Mazda 6) as the primary compatibility check. Key technical parameters include the Compressor Type (typically Scroll or Swash Plate), Refrigerant Type (R134a or R1234yf), Voltage (usually 12V), and the Number of Grooves on the Pulley (e.g., 6PK). Ensure the Mounting Hole Positions align perfectly with the engine block to avoid installation failures.

Prioritize suppliers who conduct 100% Helium Leak Testing and Noise Level Testing before shipment. High-quality compressors should use high-precision bearings (such as NSK or Nachi) and high-temperature resistant seals to prevent premature failure. Request documentation for Durability Cycle Tests (e.g., 50,000+ engagements) and check if the supplier holds IATF 16949 certification, which is the gold standard for automotive quality management systems.

The price is primarily driven by the Internal Component Quality (new vs. remanufactured), Order Volume, and Material Costs (aluminum housing grade). Brand-new aftermarket units typically range from $60 to $120 USD for bulk orders, while Original Equipment (OE) equivalent units may be higher. Always clarify if the price includes the Clutch Assembly and Pulley, as some low-cost quotes may only cover the compressor body.

Ensure the products comply with SAE J639 standards for safety and design of mobile air conditioning systems. For the European market, products must meet REACH and RoHS requirements regarding hazardous substances. Additionally, verify that the units are shipped without oil or with a specific pre-filled PAG oil volume to comply with international shipping regulations for pressurized or chemical-containing components.

Implement a Third-Party Pre-shipment Inspection (PSI) to verify the vacuum pressure and clutch engagement of a random sample. Use Secure Payment Terms such as those offered on Made-in-China.com, which provide escrow services to ensure funds are only released after the goods are confirmed to meet the agreed-upon specifications.

Focus on Long-term Warranty Terms rather than just the lowest unit price; a 12 to 24-month warranty is a sign of supplier confidence. Negotiate for Free Replacement Units (usually 1-2%) to be included in the container to cover potential 'Dead on Arrival' (DOA) cases, which saves the cost of returning individual faulty units.

Compressors are heavy and sensitive to moisture. Ensure the supplier uses Neutral Five-Layer Corrugated Boxes with Custom Foam Inserts to prevent impact damage. Since they contain residual oil, they may be classified as 'Sensitive Goods' by some carriers; ensure the Material Safety Data Sheet (MSDS) is provided to avoid customs delays or rejections at the port of exit.

Check the current Anti-Dumping Duties and Tariff Codes (HS Code 841430) for your specific country to calculate the Total Landed Cost. Utilize suppliers on Made-in-China.com who are familiar with Certificate of Origin (CO) requirements, which can help you benefit from preferential trade agreements and reduce import taxes.
