Lady chain bag manufacturers

Buyers should prioritize Genuine Leather (Top Grain or Full Grain) for luxury markets or High-Grade PU/Microfiber Leather for cost-effective durability. Ensure the lining material is high-density polyester or cotton to prevent tearing. The most critical component, the chain strap, should be made of electroplated zinc alloy or stainless steel with an anti-oxidation coating to prevent fading, rusting, or skin irritation.

Request a Salt Spray Test report (typically 24-48 hours) to ensure the hardware resists corrosion. Check the weight and sound of the chain; high-quality chains feel substantial and do not produce a 'tinny' sound. Ensure the lobster clasps and D-rings have a smooth spring mechanism and can withstand a pull test of at least 5-10kg depending on the bag size.

For the US market, products must comply with California Proposition 65 regarding lead and phthalate content in synthetic materials. For the EU, adherence to REACH regulations is mandatory to ensure no harmful chemicals (like Azo dyes or Nickel) are present in the leather or hardware. Always ask for SGS or Intertek certification to avoid customs seizures.

Current market demand favors multi-functional designs, such as bags with detachable chains that convert from a shoulder bag to a clutch. RFID-blocking pockets are becoming a standard requirement for security-conscious consumers. For evening wear scenarios, focus on high-gloss finishes and crystal-inlaid clasps, while daily use scenarios require scratch-resistant Saffiano or pebbled textures.

Implement a Golden Sample protocol: have the supplier sign and seal two identical samples—one for them and one for you. Use a third-party inspection service (like V-Trust or QIMA) to perform a During Production Check (DUPRO) and a Final Random Inspection (FRI) based on the AQL 2.5/4.0 standard before final payment.

Focus on Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) rather than just the unit price. Negotiate for lower MOQs on trial orders (e.g., 50-100 units) to test market response. Ask for tiered pricing based on volume increases and request OEM/ODM customization (such as logo embossing) to be included in the bulk price to enhance brand value.

Specify protective packaging requirements: each bag should be stuffed with acid-free paper to maintain shape, placed in a non-woven dust bag, and then a polybag with silica gel desiccant. For the outer carton, use 5-layer corrugated boxes with reinforced corners. For high-value leather goods, Air Freight is recommended to minimize humidity exposure during long sea voyages.

Always use Secured Trading Services provided by platforms like Made-in-China.com to ensure your payment is held in escrow until shipping documents are verified. Avoid direct wire transfers to private bank accounts. Ensure the Proforma Invoice (PI) clearly states the Incoterms (e.g., FOB, DAP), detailed product specs, and the agreed-upon lead time.
