Kit fortuner manufacturers

The most common materials are ABS plastic and PP (Polypropylene). PP is generally preferred for body kits because it is more flexible and impact-resistant, similar to original factory bumpers. ABS is stiffer and easier to paint but can be more brittle. Ensure the supplier uses injection molding rather than vacuum forming for better precision and fitment.

You must specify the model year (e.g., 2016-2023) and the specific trim (e.g., Legender, GR Sport, or Standard). Many kits are designed for facelift conversions, allowing older models to look like newer versions. Always request a fitment compatibility chart and photos of the mounting points to ensure they align with the original chassis holes.

Prioritize suppliers with ISO 9001 for manufacturing consistency. For international trade, ensure the products meet IATF 16949 standards, which are specific to the automotive industry. If the kit includes lighting (LED DRLs or taillights), verify E-mark (Europe) or DOT (USA) compliance to ensure road legality in your target market.

Beyond aesthetics, a high-quality Kit Fortuner should not interfere with parking sensors, radar systems (Toyota Safety Sense), or towing hooks. Ensure the front spoiler design allows for adequate airflow to the radiator to prevent engine overheating, especially in tropical climates where the Fortuner is popular.

Body kits are large, lightweight, and fragile. Insist on wooden crate packaging or reinforced 7-layer corrugated boxes with internal foam bracing. On Made-in-China.com, you can use STS (Secured Trading Service) to ensure that payment is only released after you confirm the goods arrived in the promised condition.

Focus on sample-to-bulk conversion discounts. Ask for a sample price first, and negotiate for that cost to be deducted from your first container order. Also, negotiate for 2-3% extra spare parts (like clips, 3M tape, or brackets) to be included free of charge to handle minor local installation issues.

Ensure the kits do not feature counterfeit Toyota logos unless you have authorization, as this can lead to customs seizure. Most aftermarket kits are sold as 'unbranded' or under the supplier's brand. Check your local import duties for HS Code 8708.29 (Parts and accessories of bodies) to calculate the Total Landed Cost accurately.

Due to the high volumetric weight, LCL (Less than Container Load) can be expensive. The most economical way is FCL (Full Container Load), where you can nest smaller parts inside larger bumpers to maximize space utilization. If buying from Made-in-China.com, look for suppliers near major ports like Guangzhou or Ningbo to reduce domestic logistics costs.
