K03 chra price manufacturers

The K03 CHRA (Center Housing Rotating Assembly) is a precision component. You must ensure the turbine wheel is made of K418 high-nickel alloy to withstand temperatures up to 900°C. The compressor wheel should be forged aluminum or high-grade cast aluminum for optimal burst strength. Most importantly, verify that the unit has undergone VSR (Variable Speed Range) balancing at speeds exceeding 150,000 RPM, with a residual imbalance of less than 0.001g.mm.

Compatibility is determined by the OEM number or the Turbo Part Number (e.g., 5303-988-0005). You should request the supplier to provide a cross-reference list for Audi, Volkswagen, or BMW applications. Ensure the oil inlet and outlet dimensions match the original housing to prevent oil leaks or starvation, and confirm the actuator mounting points are precisely aligned.

Look for journal bearings made of lead-free bronze for better heat dissipation and 360-degree thrust bearings if the application involves high-boost tuning. The shaft surface roughness (Ra) should be less than 0.2μm to minimize friction. A high-quality CHRA should offer a service life of at least 100,000 kilometers under standard operating conditions.

Suppliers should ideally hold IATF 16949:2016 certification, which is the global quality management standard for the automotive industry. For the European market, ensure the materials comply with REACH regulations. Each unit should have a unique serial number and a balancing test report included in the packaging for traceability.

Always request a pre-shipment inspection (PSI). You can hire third-party agencies to verify the balancing certificates and perform dimensional checks. Use Secure Payment services on Made-in-China.com to ensure funds are only released after the goods pass the agreed-upon quality benchmarks.

Focus on Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) rather than just the unit price. Negotiate based on annual volume commitments to secure a 10-15% discount. Ask for 'All-in' pricing that includes neutral packaging and laser marking. If you are a repeat buyer, negotiate for 30/70 payment terms (30% deposit, 70% against BL copy) to improve your cash flow.

CHRA units are sensitive to impact. Insist on individual foam-in-place packaging or high-density plastic molds to prevent shaft bending during transit. For international shipping, ensure the boxes are double-walled corrugated cardboard and treated with VCI (Volatile Corrosion Inhibitor) bags to prevent rust during sea freight due to humidity.

Verify the HS Code (typically 8414.90) for your specific country to calculate import duties accurately. Be aware of anti-dumping duties that may apply to certain steel or aluminum components in specific regions. Ensure the supplier provides a Certificate of Origin (CO) to take advantage of any Free Trade Agreements (FTAs) that might reduce your tax burden.
