Jinbei engine manufacturers

When sourcing a Jinbei engine, you must first identify the specific model series, such as the 4G19, 4G20, or 4G22 (V19/V22). Key technical parameters include the displacement (L), rated power (kW/rpm), and maximum torque (Nm). Ensure the engine matches the vehicle's original mounting points and transmission interface. For modern requirements, verify the emission standard compliance (e.g., Euro IV, V, or VI) to ensure it can be legally registered in your target market.

A Brand New (OEM) engine comes directly from the factory with zero mileage and a full manufacturer warranty. A Rebuilt/Remanufactured engine has been disassembled, cleaned, and fitted with new wear parts (pistons, rings, bearings) to meet original specs. A Used/Second-hand engine is sold 'as-is' based on previous mileage. Always request a compression test report and video of the engine running on a test bench to verify internal health before purchase.

Reliable automotive suppliers should hold ISO 9001 or the more stringent IATF 16949 certification, which is the global standard for automotive quality management. Additionally, check if the products have CE marking or specific regional certifications like E-Mark for the European market. Sourcing from a 'Diamond Member' or 'Audited Supplier' on Made-in-China.com provides an extra layer of verification regarding their factory scale and export history.

Jinbei engines are primarily used for light commercial vehicles (LCVs), minibuses, and vans. In the B2B sector, they are frequently purchased for fleet maintenance, vehicle assembly plants (CKD/SKD projects), and as stationary power units for industrial pumps or generators in specific regions due to their high torque at low speeds and ease of maintenance.

The biggest risks include shipping damage (cracked blocks or bent pulleys) and incompatibility. To mitigate this, insist on heavy-duty wooden crate packaging with internal shock absorption. Furthermore, provide the supplier with the VIN (Vehicle Identification Number) or the Engine Serial Number to perform a 100% compatibility check before the goods leave the warehouse.

Negotiate a warranty period of at least 6 to 12 months. Since shipping a heavy engine back for repair is cost-prohibitive, agree on a 'Parts-Only' warranty where the supplier sends replacement components (gaskets, sensors, etc.) free of charge. For large bulk orders, request a 1-2% spare parts kit (filters, belts, spark plugs) to be included in the shipment at no extra cost.

Engines are considered 'heavy cargo' and must be shipped via Sea Freight (LCL or FCL) to be cost-effective. Crucially, engines must be completely drained of all fluids (oil, coolant, fuel) to comply with international shipping safety regulations regarding hazardous materials. Ensure the supplier provides a Cleanliness Certificate and a detailed Packing List to avoid customs delays.

Use Secured Payment services offered by Made-in-China.com, which hold the funds in escrow until you confirm receipt of the goods. For first-time orders, consider hiring a third-party inspection agency (like SGS or Intertek) to perform a Pre-Shipment Inspection (PSI) to verify the engine's condition and serial numbers against the proforma invoice.
