Iphone battery manufacturers

Buyers must prioritize High-Density Lithium-ion Polymer cells. Key specs include Rated Capacity (mAh), which should match or exceed OEM standards, and Cycle Life, typically requiring >500-800 cycles before capacity drops below 80%. Ensure the battery uses a High-Quality TI (Texas Instruments) or Taiwan-made IC Chip to ensure the iPhone displays 'Battery Health' data and avoids 'Important Battery Message' pop-ups.

For global trade, batteries must have UN38.3 (transportation safety) and MSDS (Material Safety Data Sheet) reports. For specific markets, look for CE and RoHS (Europe), UL2054 or IEEE 1725 (USA), and PSE (Japan). IEC 62133 is the global benchmark for battery cell safety that all professional suppliers on Made-in-China.com should provide.

The BMS must include Over-charge, Over-discharge, Over-current, and Short-circuit protection. Request the supplier to demonstrate Dual IC protection designs. For iPhone-specific compatibility, the FPC (Flexible Printed Circuit) connector must be precision-engineered to fit the logic board perfectly without tension, preventing thermal events or reboot loops.

Always demand Brand New 0 Cycle batteries. This means the cell has never been charged/discharged and the Cycle Count in the firmware is zero. Avoid 'Refurbished' or 'Grade B' stocks which are often used OEM cells with reset chips, as they have a high failure rate and poor thermal stability.

Lithium batteries are classified as Class 9 Dangerous Goods. They must be shipped via DG-rated channels (Dangerous Goods). Ensure the supplier uses UN-certified packaging with proper labeling. For air freight, batteries must be charged to no more than 30% SOC (State of Charge) per IATA regulations.

Negotiate a Compatibility Guarantee in your contract. Since iPhone XS and newer models encrypt battery data, ask the supplier if they provide Tag-on Flex cables or if the batteries require Data Programmer tools to transfer the original BMS data. Professional suppliers on Made-in-China.com often provide technical guides for these installations.

Hire a Third-Party Inspector to perform a Capacity Test on a random sample (AQL 2.5). Use a Battery Tester (like JCID or QianLi) to verify the cycle count, manufacture date, and chip authenticity. Ensure the Defective Rate (RMA) is clearly defined in the contract, typically aiming for less than 1%.

Use Secured Payment services provided by Made-in-China.com to ensure funds are only released after shipping documents are verified. Avoid direct wire transfers to private accounts. For long-term partnerships, negotiate RMA Credit, where the cost of defective units is deducted from the next order.
