Guava bag factory manufacturers

Selecting the correct material is vital for fruit quality. Non-woven fabric (PP) is the industry standard for its breathability and water resistance, which prevents fungal growth. For organic farming, look for biodegradable paper bags that offer high UV protection. Ensure the material has UV stabilizers to prevent the bag from degrading under intense sunlight before the harvest.

A professional factory should provide bags with reinforced double-stitching or ultrasonic heat sealing to prevent tearing. The translucency level must be optimized to allow enough light for photosynthesis while preventing sunburn. Additionally, check for integrated iron wires or nylon ties at the mouth of the bag to ensure a pest-proof seal that can withstand high winds.

Suppliers should ideally hold ISO 9001 certification for quality management. Since these bags come into contact with food-producing plants, verify that the materials are BPA-free and REACH compliant (for EU markets) or FDA-approved (for US markets) to ensure no harmful chemicals leach into the fruit. For eco-friendly lines, SGS compostability reports are highly recommended.

Analyze the Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) by factoring in the bag's lifespan. While reusable nylon mesh bags have a higher upfront cost, they may be more economical over 3-4 seasons compared to single-use paper. For high-volume orders, aim for tiered pricing where orders exceeding 100,000 units trigger a 15-25% discount. Always request a pre-shipment sample to verify the GSM (grams per square meter) thickness.

Utilize third-party inspection services (like V-Trust or QIMA) to conduct a During Production Check (DUPRO). This ensures the dimensions and material density match your specifications before the entire batch is completed. Always conduct transactions through Secure Payment services on Made-in-China.com to protect your funds until the Bill of Lading is confirmed.

Focus on long-term partnership potential rather than just the first order price. Negotiate for customized sizing and branding (OEM services) at no extra cost for large volumes. Ask for 'Free Over-run' samples (typically 1-2% extra bags) to account for potential damage during the bagging process in the field.

Guava bags are lightweight but high-volume (bulky). To reduce costs, request vacuum-compressed packaging to minimize the cubic meter (CBM) measurement. For peak agricultural seasons, choose CIF (Cost, Insurance, and Freight) terms if you want the supplier to handle the complexity of sea freight, but ensure they use reputable carriers with real-time tracking.

Verify the HS Code (typically under 6305 for textile bags or 4819 for paper) with your local customs broker to determine the import duty rates. Be aware of anti-dumping duties that some regions apply to specific plastic or paper products from certain countries. Ensure the factory provides a Certificate of Origin to help you benefit from any existing Free Trade Agreements (FTAs).
