Giti tyre manufacturers

When sourcing Giti Tyres, buyers must prioritize Load Index and Speed Ratings to ensure they match the specific vehicle requirements. For commercial applications, look for Fuel-Efficient Tread Compounds and Low Rolling Resistance (LRR) technology, which can significantly reduce operational costs. Additionally, verify the Casing Durability for retreading potential, as high-quality Giti casings are designed for multiple life cycles, offering better long-term ROI.

Compliance is non-negotiable in the automotive industry. Ensure the products carry the DOT (Department of Transportation) mark for the US market, E-mark (ECE) for Europe, and GCC (GSO) for the Middle East. Furthermore, check for ISO/IATF 16949 certification, which is the global standard for automotive quality management systems, ensuring the manufacturing process meets OEM-level requirements.

Selection should be based on the application environment. For long-haul transportation, prioritize rib-pattern tyres designed for steering and all-position use to ensure stability. For construction or off-road sites, select mixed-service patterns with reinforced sidewalls and stone ejectors to prevent punctures. For passenger vehicles, focus on asymmetric tread designs that balance wet-grip performance and noise reduction.

Giti is positioned as a Tier-2 high-value brand, offering approximately 80-90% of the performance of Tier-1 brands at 60-70% of the cost. Buyers should conduct a Total Cost per Kilometer (CPK) analysis rather than looking at the initial purchase price. Giti’s balance of wear resistance and competitive pricing makes it highly feasible for large-scale distributors and fleet managers looking to optimize budgets without sacrificing safety.

Always verify the DOT Serial Number on the sidewall, which indicates the week and year of manufacture; avoid stock older than 2 years for new purchases. To ensure authenticity, source exclusively through verified gold suppliers on Made-in-China.com who can provide Manufacturer Authorization Letters and official Quality Inspection Certificates.

Tyres are high-volume, low-value-density goods, so Ocean Freight is the only viable method. Negotiate for 40HQ containers to maximize space and reduce per-unit shipping costs. Request a production schedule from the supplier to ensure a lead time of 30-45 days, and clarify Incoterms (preferably FOB or CIF) to define exactly where the risk transfers during transit.

Utilize Trade Assurance services provided by platforms like Made-in-China.com to protect your payment until the goods are shipped. For first-time large orders, it is advisable to use Letter of Credit (L/C) or a 30% deposit / 70% balance against B/L copy structure. Additionally, hire a third-party inspector (like SGS or Intertek) to perform a Loading Supervision to confirm the quantity and condition before the container is sealed.

Tyres are frequently subject to Anti-Dumping (AD) and Countervailing Duties (CVD), particularly in the US and EU for tyres originating from certain regions. Before ordering, consult with a customs broker to check the specific HS Code (typically 4011.10 or 4011.20) and the Country of Origin (Giti has plants in China, Indonesia, and the USA) to calculate the Total Landed Cost accurately.
