Geely mirror manufacturers

When sourcing Geely mirrors, you must prioritize OEM compatibility to ensure a perfect fit for specific models like the Emgrand, Boyue, or Coolray. Key specs include electric adjustment functionality, integrated LED turn signals, and heating elements for defrosting. For high-end configurations, verify the presence of blind-spot detection (BSD) sensors and 360-degree camera housing. Ensure the glass uses aspheric curvature to minimize blind spots and features an anti-glare coating for night driving safety.

Automotive mirrors are critical safety components. For the US market, products must comply with DOT (Department of Transportation) standards and FMVSS 111. For the European market, E-mark (ECE R46) certification is mandatory. Additionally, ensure the manufacturer is IATF 16949 certified, which is the global quality management standard for the automotive industry, guaranteeing process consistency and low defect rates.

Request test reports for vibration resistance to ensure the mirror remains stable at high speeds. The housing should be made of UV-resistant ABS or PC/ABS plastic to prevent fading and brittleness. Furthermore, the folding mechanism (manual or power) should be tested for at least 10,000 cycles, and the mirror glass should pass a salt spray test (usually 96+ hours) to ensure corrosion resistance in coastal or snowy environments.

Suppliers on Made-in-China.com often provide OEM/ODM services. You can request custom housing colors (primed or painted to match Geely color codes), blue-tinted glass for premium aesthetics, or branded packaging for retail. For large-scale distributors, you can negotiate the integration of auto-dimming technology or specialized wide-angle lens inserts.

Automotive mirrors are fragile. Insist on 5-layer corrugated export cartons with custom-fit EPE foam or bubble inserts for each unit. For LCL (Less than Container Load) shipments, require palletization with shrink wrap and 'Fragile' labeling. It is highly recommended to use Trade Assurance services on Made-in-China.com to protect your payment until the goods are inspected and confirmed intact.

Focus on Total Cost of Ownership (TCO). While the unit price is important, negotiate based on MOQ tiers—often, increasing an order from 100 to 500 units can reduce costs by 15-20%. Ask for free samples (buyer pays shipping) to verify quality before committing. If you are a long-term partner, negotiate flexible payment terms such as 30% deposit and 70% against the Bill of Lading (B/L).

Before shipping, confirm the HS Code (typically 7009.10 for rearview mirrors) with your customs broker to determine applicable tariffs. Ensure the supplier provides a Certificate of Origin to benefit from potential Free Trade Agreements (FTA). For Brazil or Middle Eastern markets, check if additional Inmetro or SASO certifications are required to avoid customs seizures.

Prioritize Audited Suppliers who have undergone on-site inspections by third-party agencies like SGS or TÜV Rheinland. Look for suppliers with a high 'Transaction Level' and positive feedback regarding shipping punctuality. A reliable supplier should be able to provide technical drawings (CAD/STEP files) to confirm fitment before production begins.
