Garment stickers manufacturers

When selecting garment stickers, you must match the adhesive strength and application method to the fabric. For cotton and polyester, Heat Transfer Labels (HTL) are preferred for their high washability (typically 50+ cycles). For delicate fabrics like silk or nylon, look for low-temperature melting adhesives to prevent scorching. Ensure the ink type is eco-friendly (water-based or silicone) to maintain a soft hand-feel and prevent cracking after stretching.

Compliance is critical for market entry. You must ensure products meet OEKO-TEX® Standard 100 Class I (safe for babies) or Class II (direct skin contact). For the US market, verify CPSIA compliance regarding lead and phthalate content. For the EU, stickers must adhere to REACH regulations to ensure no harmful chemicals are present in the dyes or adhesives.

Request a wash test report from the supplier, specifically looking for Level 4-5 colorfastness. Conduct a cross-hatch adhesion test to ensure the sticker doesn't peel. For reflective or high-visibility stickers, verify they meet EN ISO 20471 standards. It is highly recommended to source from Verified Suppliers on Made-in-China.com who can provide third-party inspection certificates (SGS or Intertek).

Look for suppliers offering 3D Silicone transfers, flock printing, or metallic foils for a premium look. Ensure the supplier supports vector file formats (AI, PDF, EPS) for high-resolution printing. Ask about anti-counterfeiting features like holographic elements or QR code integration if you are protecting a high-end brand.

The primary risk is adhesive failure due to improper storage or expired shelf life. Mitigate this by specifying a production date and ensuring vacuum-sealed packaging for transit. Another risk is color deviation; always request a physical pre-production sample (PPS) rather than relying on digital proofs, as screen calibrations vary.

Garment stickers are high-volume, low-margin items. Aim for tiered pricing where the unit cost drops significantly at 10,000+ units. If you are a startup, negotiate a lower MOQ (e.g., 500-1,000 pcs) by offering to pay a slightly higher unit price for the first trial, with a written agreement to rebate the difference upon the first bulk order.

Always use Secured Trading Services provided by platforms like Made-in-China.com to ensure your payment is held in escrow until shipping documents are verified. Avoid direct wire transfers to private accounts; ensure the beneficiary name matches the company name on the business license.

Since stickers are lightweight and low-volume, Air Express (DHL/FedEx/UPS) is usually the most efficient for orders under 100kg, offering door-to-door delivery in 3-7 days. For massive bulk orders (e.g., millions of units), LCL (Less than Container Load) Sea Freight is more economical, but you must account for a 30-45 day lead time.
