Female dummy manufacturers

The most common materials are FRP (Fiberglass Reinforced Plastic), which offers a high-end finish and durability, and PE (Polyethylene), which is more eco-friendly and shatter-resistant. For high-traffic retail, ensure the surface has an anti-scratch coating and that the base is made of tempered glass or heavy-duty stainless steel to prevent tipping.

You should request a detailed size chart covering height, bust, waist, and hip measurements to ensure they align with your target demographic (e.g., European vs. Asian sizing). Additionally, decide between abstract (headless/featureless), realistic (with makeup and wigs), or articulated (movable limbs) styles based on your brand's visual merchandising strategy.

Prioritize dummies with detachable limbs and torso (magnetic or calf-plug fittings) to facilitate easy dressing. For footwear display, ensure the dummy has a calf rod support rather than a foot rod, allowing shoes to be placed on the feet without interference.

Ensure the paints and resins used are non-toxic and low-VOC, complying with REACH (EU) or CPSIA (US) standards. If the dummies are used in public spaces, verify that the materials have flame-retardant properties to meet local fire safety building codes.

Mannequins are fragile; insist on 5-layer corrugated export cartons with custom-fit EPE foam padding for each body part. Request that the supplier uses reinforced corner protectors and clearly marks the crates as 'Fragile' to minimize breakage during sea freight handling.

Focus on Total Cost of Ownership (TCO). Negotiate for spare parts (such as extra hands or joints) to be included in the bulk price. For orders exceeding 100 units, you can typically negotiate a 10-15% discount or request customized logo molding on the base at no extra cost.

Look for 'Audited Suppliers' on Made-in-China.com who have undergone third-party onsite inspections by SGS or TÜV Rheinland. Review their export history to your specific country to ensure they are familiar with your local customs documentation requirements.

Always use Secured Trading Services provided by the platform. Use a 30% deposit and 70% balance payment structure, where the balance is paid only after receiving a Third-Party Inspection Report confirming the quantity and quality of the goods before they leave the factory.
