Fan air conditioner manufacturers

Unlike standard fans that only circulate air, a fan air conditioner (evaporative cooler) uses water evaporation to lower ambient temperatures. Key components include a honeywell cooling pad, a submersible water pump, and a high-capacity water tank. Buyers should prioritize units with brushless DC motors (BLDC) for higher energy efficiency, lower noise levels (below 50dB), and a longer service life compared to traditional AC motors.

For the US market, products must have ETL or UL certification and comply with DOE (Department of Energy) efficiency standards. For the European Union, CE marking (LVD and EMC directives) and RoHS compliance are mandatory. Additionally, ensure the supplier provides CB certification, which facilitates easier market entry across multiple regions by proving the product meets IEC international safety standards.

Efficiency is measured by Airflow Volume (CFM or m³/h). A professional buyer should request the CADR (Clean Air Delivery Rate) if the unit includes filtration. For a standard room of 20-30 sqm, an airflow of at least 800-1000 m³/h is recommended. Ensure the unit features automatic swing functions (horizontal and vertical) to maximize air distribution and avoid 'dead zones' in cooling.

To reduce after-sales complaints, select models with detachable dust filters and easy-to-clean water tanks to prevent bacterial growth. Water shortage protection is a critical safety feature that automatically shuts off the pump when the tank is empty. For industrial or outdoor use, prioritize UV-resistant ABS plastic housing to prevent casing degradation and cracking over time.

Implement a strict multi-stage inspection process. Request a Pre-Shipment Inspection (PSI) conducted by a third-party agency (like SGS or Intertek) to verify that the AQL (Acceptable Quality Level) is met. Specifically for fan air conditioners, insist on a 4-hour continuous running test for a random sample to check for motor overheating or water leakage issues before the balance payment is made.

Start by requesting a tiered pricing structure (e.g., 100, 500, and 1000 units). If you are a new brand, negotiate a lower MOQ for a trial order by offering to pay a slightly higher unit price, with the agreement that the price difference will be credited toward your first full-container load (FCL). Always verify if the supplier is a 'Diamond Member' or 'Audited Supplier' on Made-in-China.com to ensure business legitimacy.

Fan air conditioners are 'high-volume' goods. To optimize freight costs, choose SKD (Semi-Knocked Down) packaging if you have local assembly capabilities. Ensure the packaging passes the ISTA 3A drop test to prevent damage to the plastic chassis during sea transit. Since these contain motors (magnets), ensure the supplier provides a Magnetic Inspection Report if you choose air freight to avoid customs delays.

Utilize Secured Trading Services offered by Made-in-China.com to ensure your payment is held in escrow until shipping documents are verified. Avoid using high-risk payment methods for initial transactions; instead, use L/C (Letter of Credit) for large volumes or T/T with a 30% deposit and 70% against the Bill of Lading (B/L) copy to maintain leverage over the supplier.
