Eyebrow micro scissor manufacturers

When sourcing micro scissors, prioritize Medical Grade Stainless Steel (420 or 440C) to ensure corrosion resistance and long-term sharpness. The blade thickness should be ultra-thin (less than 0.5mm at the tip) for precision trimming. Look for hand-sharpened edges rather than machine-stamped ones, as they provide a cleaner cut without crushing the hair follicle. Additionally, ensure the pivot screw is adjustable to maintain proper tension over time.

For entry into the US market, ensure the manufacturer is FDA Registered as these are classified as grooming/medical instruments. For the EU, CE Marking and compliance with REACH regulations (ensuring no harmful nickel or lead content in the metal) are mandatory. If the scissors are marketed for professional salon use, verify ISO 13485 (Medical Devices - Quality Management Systems) to guarantee superior manufacturing consistency.

Request samples to test the tension balance; the blades should glide smoothly without resistance. The finger loops should have a polished interior or silicone inserts to prevent user fatigue during extended use. For durability, ask for a Rockwell Hardness (HRC) rating between 50-55; anything lower will dull quickly, while anything higher may become brittle and prone to snapping if dropped.

Most top-tier suppliers on Made-in-China.com offer Laser Logo Engraving on the pivot or handle. You can also request specialized coatings such as Plasma Coating, Titanium Plating (Gold/Rose Gold), or Matte Black Powder Coating for brand differentiation. Packaging customization, such as PU leather pouches or magnetic gift boxes, is essential for retail-ready products.

The biggest risk is batch inconsistency, where samples are high quality but bulk orders have alignment issues. Mitigate this by mandating a Pre-Shipment Inspection (PSI) where a third party checks the blade alignment and tip sharpness of at least 10% of the order. Another risk is rusting during sea freight due to humidity; ensure the supplier uses VCI (Volatile Corrosion Inhibitor) bags or anti-rust oil for transit.

Start by asking for a tiered pricing structure (e.g., 500, 2000, and 5000 units). If you are a startup, negotiate a lower MOQ for the first 'trial' order by offering to pay a slightly higher unit price, with the agreement that the price drops for the second order. Always confirm if the molding fee for custom designs can be refunded once a certain sales volume is reached.

Always use Secured Payment services provided by the platform to ensure funds are only released upon confirmation of receipt. For shipping, Air Freight (DHL/FedEx) is recommended for micro scissors due to their high value-to-weight ratio and small volume, which reduces the risk of damage compared to heavy sea containers. Ensure the HS Code (typically 8213.00) is correctly declared to avoid customs delays.
