Ask the supplier for a salt spray test report for the paint and a climbing ability test video under full load to verify performance claims.

The biggest risk is battery degradation during long-term sea transit. Ensure the supplier charges batteries to 40-60% before shipping and disconnects the power system. Another risk is shipping damage; insist on steel crate packaging rather than simple plastic wrapping. To secure your transaction, use secured payment terms and consider a third-party pre-shipment inspection to verify the quantity and functional status of the carts.

Don't just negotiate on the unit price; negotiate on the warranty period for core components (Motor, Controller, Battery), aiming for at least 2-3 years.
