Dual sim router manufacturers

When sourcing for B2B applications, prioritize Load Balancing and Failover capabilities, which ensure seamless switching between carriers if one signal drops. Look for CAT 4, CAT 6, or CAT 12/18 LTE modules depending on required bandwidth; higher CAT ratings support Carrier Aggregation for faster speeds. Additionally, verify the Industrial Grade Hardware rating, specifically operating temperature ranges (typically -40°C to 75°C) and ESD protection for deployment in harsh environments.

Frequency band compatibility is critical. You must confirm that the router supports the specific 4G/5G LTE bands used by carriers in your region (e.g., B1/B3/B7/B20 for Europe or B2/B4/B12 for North America). Request a Module Specification Sheet from the supplier to verify that the internal modem is a global version or specifically tuned for your country's MNO (Mobile Network Operator) frequencies.

To avoid customs seizures and ensure legal sale, the product must carry CE (Europe), FCC (USA), or RoHS (Environmental) certifications. For specialized sectors like automotive or industrial automation, look for E-Mark (transportation) or EN 50155 standards. Always ask the supplier for valid certificate copies and verify them against the issuing laboratory's database.

For managing multiple units, a Cloud-based Remote Management System (RMS) is indispensable for firmware updates and real-time monitoring. Ensure the router supports robust security protocols including IPsec, OpenVPN, and L2TP/PPTP VPN to protect data integrity. Additionally, check for Watchdog Timer functionality, which automatically reboots the device in case of software failure, reducing on-site maintenance costs.

Implement a staged inspection process. Start by ordering a Golden Sample for lab testing. For the bulk order, hire a third-party inspection service (like SGS or Intertek) to perform a Pre-Shipment Inspection (PSI). Focus on functional testing of both SIM slots, signal strength consistency, and MAC address verification to ensure the hardware components haven't been swapped for cheaper alternatives.

Focus on Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) rather than just the unit price. Negotiate for extended warranties (24 months instead of 12) and technical support SLAs. If purchasing in volume, request customized firmware (OEM/ODM) with your brand's logo and default configurations. Use the Secured Trading Service on Made-in-China.com to ensure payment is only released after you confirm receipt and quality.

Routers contain sensitive electronics and sometimes internal batteries; ensure they are packed with Anti-Static shielding. Correct HS Code classification (typically 8517.62) is vital to determine accurate import duties. Be aware of encryption technology regulations in certain countries, which may require additional import permits for high-level VPN hardware.

Establish a Technical Support Protocol before signing the contract. Confirm if the supplier provides remote debugging via TeamViewer or SSH. For defective units, negotiate a Spare Parts Ratio (typically 1-2%) to be included in the shipment for free, or agree on a credit note policy for future orders instead of shipping faulty units back, which is often cost-prohibitive due to high return freight.
