Drop shipping football jersey manufacturers

When sourcing football jerseys, prioritize 100% recycled polyester or interlock fabrics with a weight of 140-160 GSM for the best balance of durability and breathability. Ensure the fabric features moisture-wicking technology (like Dri-FIT or Climalite equivalents) to handle intense physical activity. For the logos and numbering, heat-pressed TPU or silicone is preferred for 'Player Version' jerseys due to its lightweight feel, while high-density embroidery is standard for 'Fan Version' jerseys to ensure longevity through multiple wash cycles.

Compliance is critical to avoid customs seizures. Ensure products meet OEKO-TEX Standard 100 for chemical safety in textiles. Most importantly, for drop shipping, you must distinguish between unbranded/white-label kits and licensed merchandise. If selling club-specific designs, verify the supplier has the proper licensing authorization or focus on custom teamwear (OEM) to avoid Intellectual Property (IP) infringement risks which can lead to store bans and legal issues in the US and EU markets.

Sizing inconsistency is the #1 cause of returns in drop shipping. You must confirm whether the supplier uses Asian, European, or US sizing charts. Typically, Asian sizes are 1-2 sizes smaller than Western standards. Request a detailed size chart in centimeters and ensure the supplier provides a 'Player Fit' (slim/athletic) vs. 'Fan Fit' (loose/regular) guide, as the former is significantly tighter and requires clear communication to the end consumer.

To stand out, choose suppliers offering on-demand customization (POD). This includes sublimation printing for complex all-over designs that won't fade or peel, and vinyl heat transfer for individual names and numbers. High-tier suppliers on Made-in-China.com can also provide custom neck labels, hangtags, and branded polybags, which are essential for building brand loyalty and a professional 'unboxing' experience.

The biggest risks are long shipping delays and high return rates. Mitigate this by selecting suppliers who offer blind drop shipping (no supplier invoices in the package) and have a proven track record on Made-in-China.com. Always order a sample to your own address first to verify the actual shipping time and the stitching quality before running ads.

Focus your negotiation on processing time (lead time) rather than just the unit price. A supplier who can ship within 48 hours is more valuable than one who is $1 cheaper but takes 7 days to process. Ask for tiered pricing; as your daily order volume grows from 1 to 50+ units, negotiate for a 5-15% discount or free branding upgrades.

For lightweight items like jerseys, use dedicated line logistics (e.g., YunExpress or 4PX) or ePacket+. These methods offer a balance of cost and speed, typically delivering in 7-12 business days. Ensure the supplier provides end-to-end tracking numbers that are compatible with Shopify or other platforms to reduce 'Item Not Received' disputes.

Always conduct transactions through Made-in-China.com's Secured Trading Service. This ensures your payment is held in escrow and only released when the supplier provides proof of shipment. Avoid using direct wire transfers or unprotected 'friends and family' payment methods for initial orders to protect your capital from fraud.
