Double baby tricycle manufacturers

When sourcing double baby tricycles, the frame material is paramount; prioritize high-carbon steel or aluminum alloy for a balance of durability and weight. Ensure the tricycle features a three-point or five-point safety harness for both seats to prevent falls. The braking system should be a dual-rear wheel linkage brake to ensure the vehicle remains stationary on inclines. Additionally, look for non-inflatable EVA or rubber wheels to provide shock absorption without the risk of punctures.

A high-quality double tricycle should offer 360-degree rotating seats, allowing children to face each other or the parent. Look for multi-stage adjustable push handles that enable ergonomic steering for adults of different heights. For long-term value, select 4-in-1 modular designs that can transform from a steered stroller into a classic tricycle as the children grow, typically covering ages 12 months to 5 years.

As a children's product, compliance is non-negotiable. Ensure the supplier provides EN71 certification for the European market or ASTM F963 for the United States. The materials must be BPA-free and meet phthalate content limits. If the product includes a canopy, verify it has a UPF 50+ rating to ensure adequate UV protection for infants.

For B2B buyers targeting urban consumers, a one-click folding mechanism is a significant selling point. The folded dimensions should be compatible with standard car trunks. Ensure the locking hinges are reinforced to prevent accidental folding during use, and the total weight should ideally not exceed 15-18kg to maintain portability for a double-seat configuration.

Always request a pre-shipment inspection (PSI) by a third-party agency like SGS or Intertek. Focus specifically on load-bearing tests (ensuring the frame holds at least 50kg) and sharp edge inspections. Utilizing platforms like Made-in-China.com allows you to filter for Audited Suppliers, which provides an extra layer of verification regarding their manufacturing capabilities and factory conditions.

Standard MOQs for double tricycles usually range from 50 to 100 units. To lower the unit price, consider a Full Container Load (FCL) strategy, which significantly reduces the per-unit shipping cost compared to LCL. Negotiate for spare parts (2-3% extra) such as pedals, screws, and canopy clips to be included in the initial order to handle future warranty claims without shipping delays.

Double tricycles are bulky; ensure the supplier uses 5-layer corrugated export cartons with internal honeycomb cardboard buffers to prevent frame scratches during transit. Confirm the Incoterms clearly—FOB (Free On Board) is generally preferred for buyers who have their own freight forwarders to control costs, while CIF may be easier for first-time importers.

Use Secured Trading Services offered by reputable platforms like Made-in-China.com to ensure your payment is only released to the supplier after you confirm receipt and inspection. Avoid direct wire transfers to private accounts; always use corporate bank accounts verified by the platform to prevent fraud.
