Digital weighing scale 150kg manufacturers

For a 150kg capacity, prioritize high-precision strain gauge sensors. Ensure the scale uses a four-point sensor configuration to maintain accuracy even if the load is not perfectly centered. For industrial or commercial use, look for sensors with an OIML (International Organization of Legal Metrology) certification to guarantee measurement consistency.

The platform should be made of tempered safety glass (at least 6mm-8mm thick) for personal use or 304 stainless steel/heavy-duty carbon steel for industrial environments. Ensure the base features anti-skid rubber feet to prevent sliding and a reinforced frame that can handle a 150kg load without structural deformation over time.

Look for units that offer multi-unit conversion (kg/lb/st), a Tare function for net weight calculation, and an Auto-off feature to conserve battery life. For smart scales, verify Bluetooth 5.0 or Wi-Fi connectivity and compatibility with major health platforms like Apple Health or Google Fit via a dedicated SDK/API.

Products must carry the CE mark for the European market and FCC certification for the US, especially if they have wireless capabilities. For trade-legal scales, NTEP (US) or MID (EU) approval is mandatory. Additionally, ensure the product is RoHS compliant to meet environmental safety standards regarding hazardous substances.

Digital scales are precision instruments sensitive to vibration. Insist on 5-layer corrugated export cartons with custom-fit EPE foam inserts rather than bubble wrap. Request a drop test report (ISTA 1A or 2A) from the supplier before shipping to ensure the packaging can withstand the rigors of cross-border logistics.

Focus on component transparency; ask for the specific brand of the load cell and chipset. Negotiate based on Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) rather than just the unit price. Request a 2-3% spare parts allowance (especially for LCD screens and sensors) for bulk orders to handle local warranty claims without returning units to China.

Gravity varies by latitude, which can affect scale accuracy. Ensure the supplier performs gravity compensation calibration based on your destination's coordinates. Alternatively, source scales with an external calibration mode and include a standard M1 class calibration weight in your initial order to recalibrate upon arrival.

Always use Secured Trading Services on Made-in-China.com to protect your payments. Conduct a Pre-Shipment Inspection (PSI) through a third-party agency like SGS or Intertek to verify that the accuracy tolerance (typically ±0.1kg for 150kg scales) meets your specifications before the final balance is paid.
