Continuous conveyor dryer manufacturers

Buyers must prioritize heat source compatibility (electricity, steam, natural gas, or biomass) and multi-stage temperature control to ensure drying uniformity. Key metrics include belt width and material (e.g., food-grade stainless steel mesh or Teflon), adjustable residence time, and moisture evaporation rate (kg/h). For industrial efficiency, look for units with heat recovery systems that can reduce energy consumption by up to 20-30%.

Verify that the supplier holds ISO 9001 certification for manufacturing quality. For specific markets, ensure the machinery is CE marked (Europe) or meets UL/CSA standards (North America). If used in food or pharmaceutical sectors, the equipment must comply with GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice) and use FDA-approved lubricants and belt materials to prevent cross-contamination.

Calculate the Total Cost of Ownership (TCO), which includes the initial purchase price, installation costs, and annual maintenance expenses. High-efficiency insulation and inverter-controlled fans significantly lower operational costs. Additionally, consider the footprint-to-capacity ratio; modular designs allow for future scalability without replacing the entire system, providing better long-term value.

Single-layer conveyor dryers are ideal for high-moisture vegetables and fruits, while multi-layer configurations are preferred for space-constrained facilities processing grains, briquettes, or chemical pigments. For delicate products, vibratory feeders and gentle air-flow patterns are essential to prevent physical damage during the drying process.

Always mandate a Pre-Shipment Inspection (PSI) conducted by a third-party agency like SGS or Intertek. Request a video factory audit and a running test report using materials similar to your own. Ensure the contract specifies tolerance levels for key performance indicators like final moisture content and energy throughput.

Focus negotiations on after-sales service packages and spare parts kits (e.g., extra belts, sensors, and heating elements) rather than just the base price. For large-scale equipment, propose a staged payment plan (e.g., 30% deposit, 60% after successful FAT/Factory Acceptance Test, and 10% after installation) to maintain leverage.

Due to the size, these units often require Open Top (OT) or Flat Rack (FR) containers. Ensure the supplier uses professional sea-worthy packaging, including vacuum plastic wrapping and anti-rust coating for carbon steel parts. Confirm that the supplier provides a detailed loading plan to prevent structural damage during transit.

Prioritize suppliers who offer remote commissioning via AR/video or have local service partners in your region. Ensure all technical manuals and PLC interfaces are provided in English. On Made-in-China.com, look for 'Diamond Members' or 'Audited Suppliers' who have a proven track record of international installations and provide comprehensive English documentation.
