Compressor 97701-2y550 manufacturers

The 97701-2Y550 is a specific A/C compressor typically used in Hyundai and Kia vehicles (such as the IX35 or Sportage). You must verify the pulley diameter (usually 110mm-120mm), the number of grooves (6PK), and the voltage (12V). Ensure the refrigerant type is R134a and confirm the mounting hole positions match the OEM layout to prevent installation failures.

Prioritize suppliers who perform 100% leakage tests, noise tests, and performance durability tests before shipping. Look for components using high-quality seals and bearings (such as NSK or Nachi) to prevent premature failure. A high-quality compressor should have a smooth surface finish and no metal shavings in the oil ports.

Suppliers should ideally hold IATF 16949 certification, which is the international standard for automotive quality management systems. Additionally, ensure the product meets CE or regional safety standards if required by your local market. Requesting a Material Safety Data Sheet (MSDS) for the compressor oil pre-filled in the unit is also essential for customs clearance.

Yes, most professional manufacturers on Made-in-China.com offer OEM/ODM services. For bulk orders (usually 50-100 units or more), you can request customized neutral boxes or branded packaging with your logo, as well as specific barcode labeling for easier inventory management.

Automotive compressors are heavy and fragile. Insist on reinforced packaging, such as individual foam-padded boxes placed inside a double-walled master carton, and secured on pallets for LCL shipments. Ensure the supplier uses port plugs to prevent moisture and dust from entering the internal system during transit.

Focus on Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) rather than just the unit price. Negotiate for a longer warranty period (e.g., 12-24 months) and ask for a 1-2% spare parts allowance for large orders. Mention your long-term procurement plan to secure Tier 1 pricing even if your initial trial order is small.

Always use secure payment methods provided by reputable platforms. Utilize Made-in-China.com's Secured Trading Service to ensure that your payment is only released to the supplier after you have confirmed receipt and inspected the goods. Avoid direct wire transfers to unknown personal accounts.

Many compressors come pre-filled with PAG oil. You must clarify with the supplier whether the oil is included and if it is compatible with your local refrigerant standards. Some shipping lines categorize oil-filled compressors as dangerous goods, so ensure the supplier provides the correct shipping declarations to avoid customs delays.
