Coco battery price manufacturers

When comparing prices, you must look beyond the sticker cost and evaluate Energy Density (Wh/kg) and Cycle Life. For CityCoco scooters, Lithium Iron Phosphate (LiFePO4) batteries typically command a higher price than Lead-Acid but offer 2,000+ cycles compared to 300-500 cycles. Ensure the Battery Management System (BMS) includes protections against overcharge, deep discharge, and thermal runaway, as a high-quality BMS accounts for a significant portion of the total cost.

Coco batteries usually range from 60V 12Ah to 60V 55Ah. A higher Ampere-hour (Ah) rating directly increases the range but also the price and weight. B2B buyers should verify the Cell Grade (Grade A vs. Grade B); Grade A cells are more expensive but ensure capacity consistency and a lower failure rate in large fleets. Always request a discharge curve report to validate that the labeled capacity matches actual performance.

To ensure legal entry and safety, batteries must have UN38.3 certification for transport safety. For the European market, CE and RoHS are mandatory, while UL 2271 is preferred for North American light electric vehicle batteries. Sourcing products without these certifications may lead to customs seizures or significant legal liability in the event of a fire.

To optimize costs, consider Bulk Tier Pricing; ordering in quantities that fill a 20ft container can reduce unit costs by 15-25% compared to LCL (Less than Container Load) shipping. Additionally, sourcing from integrated manufacturers on Made-in-China.com who assemble their own packs can eliminate middleman markups. Always factor in the Total Cost of Ownership (TCO), including the cost of replacement cycles over a 3-year period.

Batteries are classified as Class 9 Dangerous Goods. They must be shipped using specialized DG (Dangerous Goods) containers with proper labeling and MSDS (Material Safety Data Sheet) documentation. Ensure your forwarder is experienced in battery logistics to avoid heavy fines or rejection at the port of loading.

Use Secured Trading Services provided by platforms like Made-in-China.com to ensure payment is only released upon proof of shipment. Conduct a Factory Audit or hire a third-party inspector to perform a Pre-Shipment Inspection (PSI), specifically checking the internal resistance and voltage balance of the battery cells.

Focus negotiations on the Warranty Terms and After-Sales Replacement Ratio. Instead of just pushing for the lowest price, negotiate for a 1-2% spare parts allowance or a 24-month replacement warranty. This protects your investment against the inherent 1-3% defect rate common in mass-produced lithium cells.

Be aware of Anti-Dumping Duties (ADD) or specific tariffs on lithium-ion batteries in your region (e.g., Section 301 tariffs in the US). Check the HS Code (typically 8507.60) against your country's tariff schedule to calculate the accurate landed cost before finalizing the purchase contract.
