Ceramic custom poker chips manufacturers

Ceramic chips are favored in professional settings because they allow for full-surface sublimation printing, meaning the design is embedded into the material rather than being a sticker. They offer a textured matte finish that prevents slipping when stacked and produce a distinctive 'clack' sound preferred by casinos. Unlike clay-composite chips, ceramics are highly durable and resistant to chipping at the edges.

Standard professional chips should have a diameter of 39mm or 43mm and a weight of approximately 10 grams. Ensure the supplier uses high-density ceramic polymers to avoid a 'plastic' feel. For customization, request 300 DPI high-resolution printing to ensure edge-to-edge alignment and clarity of intricate security patterns or logos.

For B2B buyers in the gaming or high-stakes event industry, it is crucial to inquire about UV fluorescent ink markings that are only visible under blacklight. Additionally, look for suppliers who can provide unique serial numbering or embedded RFID chips for real-time tracking and authentication to prevent fraud.

Ensure the products comply with EN71 or ASTM standards for physical safety (non-toxic materials). Since these are often used in promotional or gaming contexts, verify that the inks used are lead-free and phthalate-free to meet REACH (EU) or CPSIA (US) regulations.

When providing custom artwork, ensure you have the legal right to use the logos. Conversely, protect your own brand by signing a Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA) with the supplier to ensure they do not resell your custom molds or designs to other buyers. Professional suppliers on Made-in-China.com are accustomed to protecting buyer IP.

Always request a pre-production sample (PPS) before the full run. Because ceramic colors can shift slightly during the heating process, ask for a Pantone color match guarantee. For large orders, hire a third-party inspection service to perform a random DUPRO (During Production) check to verify weight consistency and print alignment.

Ceramic chips are dense and heavy; a standard set of 1,000 chips weighs about 10-12kg. For cost-efficiency, sea freight (LCL) is recommended for orders over 5,000 pieces. Ensure the supplier uses reinforced double-wall corrugated export cartons and individual shrink-wrapping for chip rolls to prevent friction damage during transit.

Utilize Secured Payment services offered by reputable platforms like Made-in-China.com. Avoid paying 100% upfront; a standard professional term is 30% deposit and 70% balance payment after the presentation of the Bill of Lading (B/L) or a successful pre-shipment inspection report.
