Camouflage jacket manufacturers

When sourcing camouflage jackets, prioritize fabric composition (typically a 65% polyester and 35% cotton blend or Ripstop nylon) to ensure a balance between breathability and durability. For tactical applications, ensure the fabric weight is between 210-240g/m². Key features should include reinforced elbow patches, adjustable hook-and-loop cuffs, and high-quality YKK zippers or equivalent heavy-duty hardware to prevent field failure.

Buyers must specify the pattern type, such as MultiCam, Woodland, Digital, or Desert, and verify the colorfastness to light and washing (Grade 4 or higher). If the jackets are for military or security use, confirm if Near-Infrared (NIR) Signature Management technology is required, which helps the wearer remain undetected by night-vision devices.

Ensure the supplier complies with ISO 9001 for quality management. For specialized protective gear, look for EN ISO 13688 (general protective clothing requirements) and OEKO-TEX® Standard 100 to guarantee the absence of harmful chemicals. If the jacket is intended for the US market, ensure it meets flammability standards (16 CFR Part 1610).

Request a Hydrostatic Head test report; a rating of 5,000mm to 10,000mm is ideal for moderate to heavy rain. Additionally, check for taped seams and a Durable Water Repellent (DWR) coating. For windproofing, the fabric should have a low Air Permeability rating (typically <5 mm/s) to maintain thermal insulation in harsh environments.

Yes, some countries have strict regulations or bans on civilians wearing military-style camouflage (e.g., several nations in the Caribbean and Africa). Always verify the legality of the specific pattern in your destination country to avoid customs seizures or legal penalties. Ensure the commercial invoice clearly states 'Civilian Outdoor Apparel' if applicable.

Utilize the 'Audit Reports' available on Made-in-China.com to vet the supplier's manufacturing capacity. When negotiating, request a Pre-Production Sample (PPS) and insist on a Third-Party Inspection (such as SGS or Intertek) before final payment. Define a Defect Allowable Limit (AQL 2.5/4.0) in your contract to ensure consistent batch quality.

For large volumes, Sea Freight (FCL or LCL) is the most economical, though it has longer lead times (30-45 days). For mid-sized orders, Sea-to-Truck (Matson/ZIM) offers a balance of speed and cost. Ensure the supplier uses vacuum-compressed packaging to reduce the volumetric weight, which can lower shipping costs by 20-30%.

Always use Secured Trading Services provided by Made-in-China.com to protect your funds. Avoid direct transfers to private bank accounts; instead, use Letter of Credit (L/C) for very large orders or Telegraphic Transfer (T/T) with a 30% deposit and 70% balance paid after inspection but before shipment.
