Cafe table chair set manufacturers

For high-traffic commercial environments, prioritize kiln-dried solid wood, powder-coated aluminum, or reinforced stainless steel frames. For outdoor use, ensure materials are UV-resistant and weatherproof (such as PE rattan or teak). Table tops should ideally be scratch-resistant HPL (High-Pressure Laminate), tempered glass, or treated marble to withstand constant cleaning and heavy usage.

Ensure the products meet EN 581 (European standard for outdoor furniture) or BIFMA (Business and Institutional Furniture Manufacturers Association) standards for safety and durability. For upholstered chairs, verify fire retardancy compliance such as BS 5852 (UK) or CAL 117 (US). Additionally, look for ISO 9001 certified manufacturers to ensure consistent quality management systems.

Select chairs with a seat height of 45-48cm to match standard cafe tables (75cm height). For small spaces, prioritize stackable designs to facilitate easy storage and floor cleaning. Ensure the weight capacity is at least 150kg (330 lbs) per chair to accommodate diverse customer profiles. Request CAD or 3D rendering support from the supplier to visualize the layout and ensure optimal traffic flow.

Choose fabrics with a Martindale rub count of 30,000+ for superior abrasion resistance. For easy maintenance, opt for stain-resistant treated textiles or PU leather that can be wiped down easily. Check if the table bases include adjustable levelers to prevent wobbling on uneven floors, which is a common cause of structural damage over time.

Always request a pre-shipment inspection (PSI) by a third-party agency to verify dimensions, material authenticity, and load-bearing capacity. Utilize Made-in-China.com's Secured Trading Service to ensure payment is only released after the goods pass inspection. It is highly recommended to order a sample set first to test the 'sit-feel' and finish quality before committing to a full container load.

Focus on Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) rather than just the unit price. Negotiate for spare parts (such as extra foot glides, screws, or fabric swatches) to be included at no cost. If you have a large project, ask for a tiered pricing structure where the price drops significantly once you reach a 40HQ container volume, which typically offers the best shipping efficiency.

Furniture is prone to transit damage; insist on 5-layer corrugated export cartons with EPE foam edge protectors and palletization for LCL (Less than Container Load) shipments. Clarify Incoterms clearly—FOB (Free On Board) is generally preferred for buyers who have their own freight forwarders to control costs, while DDP (Delivered Duty Paid) is better for those who want a hassle-free door-to-door service including customs clearance.

Check the HS Code (typically Chapter 94) for furniture to determine the specific import duties in your country. Be aware of anti-dumping duties that may apply to wooden or metal furniture from certain regions. Consult with a professional customs broker or use the sourcing tools on Made-in-China.com to stay updated on trade regulations and ensure all Certificate of Origin documents are prepared to leverage preferential trade agreements.
