Byd radiator manufacturers

Buyers must prioritize core material quality, typically favoring high-grade aluminum (3003 or 4004 alloy) for superior heat dissipation and corrosion resistance. Ensure the fin density and tube thickness meet OEM standards to prevent overheating. For New Energy Vehicles (NEVs), verify the coolant compatibility and pressure resistance (typically ≥1.5 bar) to handle the thermal management requirements of battery and motor cooling systems.

Always verify the OEM Part Number (e.g., BYD-1062xxxx) before finalizing an order. Request technical drawings or 3D CAD files from the supplier to confirm the mounting bracket positions, inlet/outlet diameters, and sensor port locations. Since BYD frequently updates its vehicle platforms, ensure the supplier uses precision molds that guarantee a 100% fitment rate to avoid costly returns.

A professional manufacturer should hold IATF 16949 certification, which is the global standard for automotive quality management. Demand test reports for thermal cycling, vibration resistance, and salt spray testing (minimum 96 hours) to ensure durability in harsh environments. For international trade, compliance with CE or REACH standards may be necessary depending on the destination market.

High-performance radiators should offer a cooling efficiency within ±5% of the original equipment. Look for features like PA66-GF30 plastic tanks (30% glass fiber reinforced) to prevent cracking under high temperatures and brazed core technology rather than mechanical expansion for better structural integrity and longevity.

Radiators are fragile due to their aluminum fins. Insist on reinforced packaging, such as five-layer corrugated boxes with EPE foam inserts or individual wooden crates for LCL (Less than Container Load) shipments. On Made-in-China.com, you can utilize Secured Trading Services to ensure that the quality and packaging meet your requirements before the final balance is paid.

For BYD parts, suppliers often offer tiered pricing; a 15-20% discount is common when moving from a sample order to a full container load (FCL). If you are a startup, look for suppliers on Made-in-China.com that offer flexible MOQs (e.g., 10-20 pieces) for popular models like the BYD Dolphin or Seal to test your local market demand without overstocking.

Check for anti-dumping duties on aluminum products in your region (e.g., EU or USA). Ensure the supplier provides a Certificate of Origin (CO) to help you benefit from Free Trade Agreements (FTAs) where applicable. For shipping, FOB (Free On Board) is recommended for experienced buyers to maintain control over freight costs, while DDP (Delivered Duty Paid) is better for those wanting a hassle-free customs clearance process.

Prioritize Audited Suppliers on Made-in-China.com, as they have undergone on-site inspections by third-party agencies like SGS or Bureau Veritas. Review their export history and buyer feedback scores. A legitimate supplier should be willing to provide a factory tour via video call and share their business license and ISO/IATF certificates.
